They were trying to get them to jump to get the first down. But the problem is that they huddled early while they were spotting the ball after replay. They didn't wait long enough to shuffle to the line. The ball was moved, and we left 15 seconds on the play clock.

That too but if you are going to try to get them to jump you have to coach your center to not try the “tricks”.

Moving the snap up wouldn’t matter anyway if you aren’t snapping it

Read where Locklear said they moved the ball back and he just placed it where it was originally spotted. Gotta know the rules.

If he would not have posted his pic earlier, I would have thought this guy was @Catbone. Heavy set, unshaven, prescription sports googles, alone in the visitors section, ranting at the top his lungs, offending the elderly.

Don't think we were ever going to run a play. I think he was trying to move it slightly to get the defense to jump and see if the refs would call it. But, we left 15 seconds on the playclock.

I think he was 100% going for it. From his comments on the onside, I think he was in the same mindset.

He moved it half a yard. Commentator even said that’s a Jeff Saturday move. Said Saturday told Dungy during a game “Need half a yard? I got you coach.”

I honestly, think that is something they have worked on - if you look at it. THe entire line sets a half yard further than they normally would - then he moves the ball to accomodate where they set up.

Yea, I heard that, but I am still not convinced we were going for it. Moving the ball also can get the DL to move. Once a DL moves forward, then he snaps it. If the ref lets it go, it's a first down.

Who in that analogy are the donkeys that our pathetic recruiting staff are getting instead of thoroughbreds?

I think the staff recruits very well considering everything, and I think they develop even better..

He moved it immediately. Moving it that soon wasn’t going to get them to jump imo

Either way ref was on that immediately.
