I was very disappointed in how we mismanaged the clock but honestly I can’t imagine a worse ingame coaching than Indiana pulled

No TO with 8 seconds left in the first half and then not being prepared for the on side kick was malpractice

How did we mismanage the clock on last possession? Pruitt didn’t purposely tell center to move the ball. That is why the clock stopped not by some play design. It was a player mistake

I've seen so many games where a team is down by a score and kicks the ball away with 4ish minutes and all their timeouts. Stop the other team and you get the ball back with 2-3 minutes left! I can see why they may have not been expecting it.

Looking at it a different way, they should have been expecting it in the sense that we hadn't been able to stop them very well in the 2nd half, and we might kick onside to prevent kicking to them and give ourselves a chance to win.

We didn't run the time all the way down on the prior two wildcat plays. But Hasselbeck was correct. When you go wildcat, you have two guys back there who get ancy and don't like waiting. So, you give up time in order to get an extra blocker in wildcat. JJ almost made the play for it to not matter, which is all I wanted to do.

He is becoming like the Cleveland Browns is as a team. People just don't take seriously.

He needed to lay low for a year or two. Let the memes die down. Then take an under-the-radar G5 job and build back up his reputation. I don't think there's any fanbase outside of maybe Central Michigan that would be happy to hire him right now.

Remember when everyone was crying about hiring Nieds??? They all said the same thing. It has already been stated Osovet is the best off the field recruiter.

I’m sure not crying, and definitely won’t cry when/if it happens. I’m not against hiring the guy, I’m just saying that the program is at a point where this needs to be a power move, and promoting anyone on support staff doesn’t exactly scream power move.

Also so much for MCB being a better bowl/draw.

Wonder what the TV numbers will be.

This is insane, but In a good way. 😂. I hope folks are prepared for how things will be once we start winning 10-12 games a year again. Are Fan Base and the atmosphere at Neyland Stadium will be second to none.

I had a feeling onside kick was coming. Brooks is so good at it and we hadn’t done it all year. They were sitting back and I just knew something was coming. Great call by Pruitt. Love his aggressiveness. Loved he was possibly going to go for it on 4th and 1 with a qb sneak to control the win until Kennedy tried to be sneaky. Apparently centers do this often. cole cubelic said he used to do it often to gain an inch but usually your line lined up with you so it wasn’t obvious. Makes me think it was just a nervous accident in that case
