Browns hiring a coach before they hire a GM is the most Haslam thing ever

Not really stupid at all. It makes sense to have a HC involved so they have same mindset of the GM and know the GM will acquire players for the system they want to run and not the gm force feed players on a coach That don’t fit. 49ers basically did this with Shanhan behind closed doors and I believe just announced them at same time

Feel free to visit this question later, but here goes. So before the game, Simonton made a comment about the Tee Martin to Ole Miss having some legs to it. Will you be mad at Tee if he leaves for Kiffin? I'm having a hard time in my mind not feeling like I'd be ticked if he made that move since it would be lateral at best.
It won’t rustle my jimmies but I won’t have good feelings about it. You got to come back to your school as a coach, things were good and you left for what reason?

And when the coach isn’t winning the GM is like “not my guy I didn’t hire him”

Graham seems unlikely.
McClendon has a sweet deal at USCe.
Frank Wilson will have multiple offers.
Hiring Osovet would be silly. You already have him on staff. What’s the point?

Might have an outside hire we haven’t heard about.
How much longer will he have a sweet deal with Muschamp there though?

Jake Fromm and Jalen Hurts have done it in twice in the last 4 years. HB is a better talent than both. If we had HB as our QB this year, then we would have gone 10-2 IMO. (assuming we still knock Tua out).
Agreed.....I think we will have a better developed roster next year. Maybe not more talented, but better developed if that makes sense. Fewer mental breakdowns so to speak.

Another "@HankHill hot take". Hilarious. And you somehow work in the industry?

Yup hot take. Educate me on how our defense sh*t the bed in the 2nd half despite allowing one TD and 2 FGs (one in which their drive started me basically at midfield)

Oh yea and held Indiana scoreless their last 3 drives.

But wait there’s more! Only Team to hold Indiana to less points than us this year... Ohio state who literally has iron man at DE and about 4-5 other first rounders on defense.

That thought process is part of the problem in league. It’s team effort in and off field. Hell might as well try something different nothing else what’s worked for the organization for decades

Someone just called in Basilio hot that JG wasn’t getting enough love, then went to bat for him saying Bailey won’t be better because he plays on a team of All-Stars. I cannot imagine dying on a hill for JG. Any other era of TN football that guy would not even get a start.
ktown has a phone?

Someone is complaining about defense? Only complaint is lack of Qb contain a few times. Otherwise we dominated them on that side of the ball. Not sure there was a blitz that didn’t work all night

It ain’t the system chief. He doesn’t go through his progressions. Locks on one receiver as soon as the balls snapped. Throws way too late. He’s been here 4 years already. Time for both of us to move on.

Exactly. I don't get why some fans and it appears some of our coaches don't get this. Or maybe they do and have other motives.

He's coached to do it differently and apparently is the only QB on the roster for 3 straight seasons that knows how to do it in practice if you listen to Pruitt and Botch before him. Yeah, OK, we are not seeing what we are clearly seeing. If he does it in games, he does it in practices. I wish they would quit BS'ing us.
