You can call it dumbing down if you want. The fact is that Mr Trump is killing the media and they don't like it. The next president... whatever party he comes from ... will continue this trend. MSM is a dead man walking in terms of being a 'reporting' organization. If your 'news' is Rachel, or Sean... or Wolf's spin on things, then you are the naive one for belittling 'Trump followers', because you have de facto said you aren't smart enough to decipher truth from lie and you need them to boil it all down for you.

Everybody lies. Obama lied. Hillary sure as hell lies... Nancy lies. Chucky lies.... Trump lies. I'll take his RESULTS over any of the aforementioned even with the lies.

Have you ever seen a clip of a Trump rally? The crowd cheers wildly when he lies (which is every time he opens his mouth). The Trump base is, by far, the most gullible electorate this Country has ever seen. The funny thing is that Trump constantly whines about "Fake News" yet he is the largest purveyor of Fake News. You simply cannot believe a word he says - he has zero credibility.

What I was replying to was @SpaceCoastVol's claim that Trump is changing the way news coverage works. I say the next president will be far more traditional/normal in the way he/she interacts with the news media.

Apologies and if they are a Democrat/Socialist/idiot I can see your point. But any Republican who doesn't see that this is what their base has been clamoring for would face certain defeat going back to the "traditional" way of interacting with the media
