I could've given two poops about who won that game. However, that was very much targeting and the rule calls for the offender to be ejected. We have been on the short end of that many times this year.

Also, that was sooooooo not a completed pass. He never fully secured it or made a football move.

OSU was dominating that game and should have won. It wasn't those two plays that lost it for them. They made mistakes at critical junctures and still had a shot at the end.

So letā€™s say on the third step instead of fumbling he stepped out of bounds, is it a catch then? Three steps with the ball and then stepped out of bounds? JW. Or are you referring to the TD catch? If so, I agree and itā€™s not a catch.

Gotta love those SEC officiating crews. They're incompetent during the season and the SEC sends their best crew to the championship games and they just keep making bad calls.

Same as out of bounds catches. Out of bounds is out of bounds and play is dead...except for catches.
