This Oklahoma performance is so bad it almost has me thinking we have a shot out there next year
Chaney grabbing tons of concepts and tape off what Brady is doing to Grinch's defense rn.

They are still very young though. But minus Hurts and Lamb...we certainly have a shot.

Lol buddy of mine works with Woody Washington grandma. He said she was telling him to be sure and look for him today. He said he was going to make sure and let her know that not only him , but the whole world found him today 😂

Wonder why Ohio St was lobbying so hard to be number 1?
I think clemson is going to handle osu. Some reporter from espn: When the final polls came out, it was an initial "disappointment" from the osu gathering, then it turned into celebration.

I took that as osu being scared of playing clemson, but then they had to show face by being happy to be in the final four.

I think clemson rolls

Plus our defense could be damn good. DLine is gonna have a lot of depth. Need a safety and LB to step up and we’ll be good
Hard to gauge.

Yes, DL is going to be solid. But we lose our best player (far and away at OLB and Safety) from each level.

Ultimately, I trust the veteran DL, DBs, and Toots. But we may have some weak links and lack a great pass rusher.

I would bet on our defense being more or less of equal quality as this year's.

But hoping for the best, we find an elite pass rusher, extra LBs, and safety. Our D may need to carry us without our cheat codes at WR.

I think everyone wanted Oklahoma matchup

I mean literally Alabama was within a TD of beating LSU. This year isn't the greatest example because of how dominant LSU is this year.

Don't think it would change much either way *most years.
Of course, I don't believe it would harm anything either. Don't buy the "sanctity of college fb is at stake" stuff. Several being way over dramatic.

But apparently I care way less than several. Whoever wanted the wildcards or whatever, it was just a different opinion.
Some of these guys in here, go off like their girlfriends were defiled.😄

8 seems like the optimal number to me. You can afford a loss in the regular season and will get in, no exceptions. There were scenarios this year where 1 loss conference champs could be excluded

I’m hoping we find a grad transfer pass rusher and offensive lineman, and add Hardy and Beckwith. Play Beckwith at LB ala that Simmons kid at Clemson
