HB is mobile enough in the HS games I have seen. Remember Burrow is a 5th year senior. He hasn't always been as he is this year. Development, the right scheme along with a quality roster changes everything. IMO Harrison will have a similar opportunity. LSU has Brady, Bama has Sark, we have Chaney. That's some offensive brain power and expertise right there.

The lesson from this game is for the coaches. Never let your foot off the gas pedal when on O while working the 2's and even 3's in with the starters once you get a good lead. The subs get to experience the speed and execution at a higher level and learn more. Once you get up by 40+ or have a nice lead in the 4th quarter you can make the wholesale changes.

4 is the perfect number.

If you make it 6 and give the top 2 a bye it would be horrible. They would have a clear advantage of both rest and scouting.

8 doesn’t make sense.

4 and you have a chance at upsets and really good football games.

I will never say no to more football games. I don’t get as worried about it being “watered down.” There are other teams that would be playing LSU much closer. OU is a hot mess on defense and in the secondary. I remember listening to a game this year where OU was on the road, and they only traveled like 6 DB’s.

You don't need a burner, just mobility. The ability to work the pocket, roll out, scramble when nobody is open, etc. You don't have to be Dobbs to be effective

Who do you guys want to be our QB against OU next season? Who do you think gives us the best chance? JG, Maurer, or Bailey?
Really hard to answer. No clue how HB will look in the college setting. JG ended the year well and I could see him doing well being more familiar with Chaney's offense. Maurer is a big unknown. He flashed at times but man he looked awful the last 1-2 games he played in. I'll go JG slightly over HB. Maurer 3rd

I think Maurer and HB5 have a higher ceiling than JG. I think Maurer looking bad at the end was due to his rust from recovering from the concussion.

If JG plays the way he did against SC and Mizzou, its him and I'm good with it. I just don't trust him. As good as he played against those two, he played embarrassingly bad against GSU, BYU, FL, UAB, and Vandy. You just never know what you're going to get with him.
