I have done this again and again and again and again. And for whatever reason, people keep requesting that I outline this. While I understand everyone doesn't read every single post in every single thread, I think for the benefit of the board it would be cumulative to go over this again. Up to you though.

Neither has Hal Mumme, but there’s no disputing that he is an offensive genius. You ignore the importance of the Jimmies and Joes. This isn’t Madden.

Huh? I have no friggin clue what statement you are trying to make here. Is Hal Mumme even alive? Did he go onto big things? It would be great if Hal Mumme and Mullen ended the same way.

At least you admit it. If you don’t know who Hal Mumme is you can always Google it. You would have a good debate with my late mother, she asked me once, “Why are you punting? You shouldn’t give the other team the ball.” She was like she “watched” a lot of football and had no clue.

Actually no you haven't at all... You talk about your expectations and haven't discussed the actual issues with the team and why it was in the state it was in.. So, tell me what the issues were with the team when Pruitt took over? Don't deflect. After you answer we will move on to the next issue the team had to work through. Since you are focused on Pruitt.. Let's start here..

I included that on purpose. Im saying he’s improving, which is undeniable from last years results. And I see what you’re saying, I just have the opinion that the low bar was set for us. I still believe we should be competing for the SEC and recruiting like Georgia. But my opinion, again, is that the reality for Tennessee is that we have been in the gutter for a decade minus butch having 2 decent years. He just didn’t build on those and then we deteriorated back to a bottom SEC roster.

I agree with you but I think the games were only push games because of last years recruiting and our coaches actually knowing how to coach. We just had Chaney and Ainsley in year one so there were growing pains that got sorted out.

I just disagree. I think '20 will showcase a very open window for improvement. Despite vitriol, I'm not saying fire CJP. I'm saying nothing has been proven to me. His recruiting class just now was amazing. It's better than some rivals that we play that have recruiting rankings in front of us. Mullen sucks.
