Have watched long enough to remember the 80’s? I remember what a turn around is like. For anyone whose only perspective is the last decade it is like you’ve only lived in the winter and you don’t know what the coming of spring feels like. Spring has sprung.

Mullen had the #1 team in the country while at Miss St. I believe I believe they were playing in the SEC West. What next level is there? Man is irritating and goofy but he can coach.

I disagree. I don't think he inherited a situation that didn't allow for him to beat south carolina, kentucky, mizzou, etc. Just disagree. You are also combining one of pruitt's own seasons in this post, which is counter intuitive. That actually is the exact crux of my point. When you say there is improvement, you are basing the analysis off setting the bar far lower than it should have been and should be.

Also, as to your question regarding "what next level is there?" Whether at Florida or Mississippi State, there are division championships, conference championships, playoff or bcs appearances. Mullen hasn't done ANY of those things.

You have only been on this forum for less than 3 months and are an obvious troll with the intent to inflame. I recommend everyone block this fool as to not feed his ego.

I've been on this forum since Dooley was fired. I just didn't sign up and post. When we played in 2017 and everybody on this forum said we had the talent to match up and beat UF and then we got obliterated and people changed the tune to we need two or three years, I was very close to signing up. When people then said there was improvement in a season that saw us losing to laughable opponents, I had had enough and decided to create an account. Does it it hurt/wound/offend you that people have different opinions/perspectives than you? You're wound very, very tight. Remember, we are discussing a game.

Missouri and Vandy had beaten UT several years in a row and both actually murdered us in 2018 yet you state our victories against them in 2019 are meritless. I do not believe you are this stupid. You are a troll trying to incite other Volnation members.

So tell me the reasons why you think the coaching staff underperformed. I don't want a blanket answer. Since you are a TN fan.. Go back to when Fulmer and Pruitt took over until now and discuss all the dynamics involved from then to now..

Okay. So describe our level of talent.
Mizzou, UK, South Carolina were push games. We won all of them.

My question to you is; given the talent we have, what should be our record?? I get that Tennessee is "A winning tradition " or what not, but given the conference landscape, (being the most talented conference in America) what should Tennessee have been over record wise the past two years with the talent available?
