We all just want what’s best for UT at the end of the day. Doesn’t matter how it shakes out at qb the odd man out will be ok. They are both too good to sit so UT will surely lose one eventually. They are too close in class.

I can assure you his line is much better than what Maurer had to deal with for his 3 years. Ever heard of “snap to sack” time?

You want what’s best for UT as long as it’s Maurer that’s being referenced as “one”. C’mon now...you’ve practically admitted it.

Bailey makes the stats better with his release and decision making. Once again, he hasn’t had a 3 star quality line...much less what you’re misrepresenting intentionally.

Play it down but you’re not a Vols fan past Maurer’s eligibility...if you even qualify presently. My “reasons” are lifelong and familial ...yours are situational and temporary.

I haven’t practically admitted anything. I really don’t care if he is or isn’t. Coaches make mistakes all the time (ever heard of Butch Jones/ Josh Dobbs?). I’m merely giving my opinion that our defensive coordinator HC is making the same mistake by not letting Chaney choose for himself.

Time will tell. I see this going in the direction of finding out sooner than later.

As far as you know. Maybe Chaney picked Guarantano. Only thing’s for certain is that you won’t be evaluating anyone on our roster past Maurer’s presence on campus.

I will be ok with whoever wins out to start, I think we have some good qb on the roster, hate to lose any of them. I trust coaching staff to play the one they think is best. Go Vols
