Injuries in the gym take alot of people out. After 40 you have to warm up and stretch. I just started working out again. Been at it for 4 months now before that it had been about 20 years since I was in a gym. My bench press is bad but you have to start somewhere. When I was 20 I got up to 280 lbs but with a repaired arm and my tricep being cut it is making me have to rehab it. I have it about normal again . It's my non dominant arm so it would take a little bit to get it even with my right arm anyway.I'm 41 and at 220lbs. At one point i got up to 230-240lbs but i injured my shoulder and it tends to flare up if i over work the benchpress now. Sucks
