Several times today, the Democrat party Representatives have stated that they are OKAY with voting on Articles of Impeachment, and then HOLDING the articles and documentation back from the Senate until the Senate does x" or "y".

1. How many more examples do you need that the HoR is abusing its own power?

2. If I were Mitch, I would go on record that the House does not get to control the Senate and attempting to do so, will only result in more partisan action.

3. Holding the Articles is a clear example that the HoR does not want the President to have Due Process.

How would you feel if you were arrested, indicted and then told that your trial may or many not happen....tomorrow, next week or ever?

These people cannot even agree wether there was or was not a "pre-approved witness list." What a day of ridiculousness.

Let's get on with real business....Senate will acquit and Trump will be re-elected.

Withheld: held back, repressed or refuse to give.

They are synonyms for each other.

To make late/held back or refused to give. Not the same thing. I know I know CNN says withhold so that’s what you have to repeat

Claim of executive privilege does when Jefferson used his office as President to claim that separation of powers allowed him to avoid testifying in a trial of his VP Aaron Burr, who was accused of plotting a revolution, but later acquitted..

Why debatable for you? Someone else mentioned Rudy was not acting as a Trump's attorney in this matter and therefore conversations may be excluded from privilege.

Won't change a bit - haven't changed materially throughout this. As always the question will come down to the swing states and how they feel about this. Seems they were generally against impeachment.

The point is: The Trump Administration did not lift the hold on the military aid until AFTER they became aware of the content of the whistleblower complaint and knew they couldn't keep it away from the House Oversight Committee.

Pelosi won't run roughshod over Mitch. That old SOB is a master strategist. He won't be led around.

House "trial" is more akin to Grand Jury. Senate hears the evidence delivered by the House and convicts or acquits.

This is why there's controversy around Schumer demanding new investigatory witnesses. Theoretically the House should have developed the case.

Correct. That's why I just laugh every time the GOPers argue no harm no foul because they got the aid with no condition ultimately attached.

You have nothing to base his re-election on besides hope. Nothing suggests that.
