You know, I am getting excited about this class. A couple may have an immediate impact. But 2021 and beyond with the pieces we are assembling will be dangerous for everyone on our schedule to include the ones in the SEC championship game and the playoff game and National Championship.

The man was offered a job and he accepted it. I don't think it was an F U statement to anybody but the unemployment line.

True, sounds like he didn’t want to move too far across the country because he was also looking at the Memphis job, and he seems like a decent guy. Maybe I should have said Mizzou is probably taking it as an f u because Arkansas is a rival. It’d be like a fired UT head coach taking a coordinator position at Bama or Georgia.

So we're taking 9 more, and it would seem that they will come from the following names:

1. Darnell Washington
2. Tyler Baron
3. Reginald Perry
4. Octavious Oxendine
5. Jay Hardy
6. Dee Beckwith
7. Tate Ratledge
8. Jimmy Holiday
9. Morven Joseph
10. Khari Coleman
11. Lenneth Whitehead
12. Doneiko Slaughter

Which 9 is it going to be? That is also assuming we keep Calloway and Mordecai

My prediction: We keep both Calloway and Mordecai and we finish this way:

Wash, Baron, Perry, Hardy, Holiday, Joseph, Coleman, Slaughter, and Whitehead.

I think Ox picks KY for some dumb reason, bet Tate signs with GA Wednesday unfortunately, but I do believe that we end up flipping Hardy, Slaughter, Coleman, and Holiday.

My prediction is the same, but i think we get Tate and not Hardy.

This was written before the Odom hire but this one part about the OC search caught my eye.

What Will Sam Pittman’s Staff Look Like?

Offensive Coordinator
I think the biggest fear among Hog fans was that Pittman would hire Jim Chaney as OC and immediately revert back to the 2013-2014 offense: an unimaginative, smashmouth scheme. It doesn’t look like that’s going to happen, as Pittman will look to be fairly modern on offense, even mentioning his preference for an RPO scheme in his introductory press conference. In fact, the Hog offense may not look significantly different from the Morris era, though offensive line play and overall execution should be much better

😂
