They very well may.

However, attrition usually happens because of coaching turnover so I’m not sure it’s fair to grade in that way. Let’s say Pruitt goes 4-8 next season and we fire him. A lot of these guys we’re high on would likely flame out or transfer. Doesn’t mean they weren’t worth signing.

I’m not suggesting we fire him. Lol. I’ve been very clear that he should get a raise and extension this offseason.

My point was about attrition rates in past recruiting classes.

Just went to my first ever in Neyland a few weeks ago. He ended the concert by playing Rocky Top.

I haven't seen anyone say he had an active hand in it. The accusation was he knew and didn't report it. Not reporting something like that isn't far from actively covering it up. As a grown, adult human, you have to report things like that. Have to.

Maybe he knew nothing. It's not clear. But you'd think think he would want to clear the public air if he knew nothing. I think he's issued a simple denial, and others have said he didn't know anything, but to my knowledge he hasn't talked about it.

Like Hank said, it's just not worth the risk for a guy who has a mediocre record and other publicly known coaching issues. Just the Tampa stuff would make me want to stay away.

I think it’s an overblown topic honestly unless it’s some mass hiatus because of sanctions or something. Some players leave or get worse with a change and some player stay and are more productive than they ever were (Kyle Phillips, Nigel etc)
