Not saying it includes OP, but some like to throw crap like that out there just in case it actually happens so they can be right. "Some of us tried to tell you all"....

Its possible we could lose, hell anything can happen, but I think this team wants to win too bad to let it happen. It might not be pretty and they might have to fight hard for it, but I believe they will.

That said, I think its already won and though it might be far from a perfect performance, we'll dominate them.

Yes I agree, I Believe VOLS dominate and cover the spread. Then all eyes toward the Outback Bowl. GBO!!!

Im not comfortable saying we cover the spread, but I think we control the game and they don't score more than 10. I could see something like 27-10.

But I hope you're right!!! Would love to see 65-0. Realistically, 42-0 would be awesome.

Seniors have extra motivation beyond never beating Vandy (which I think would be the only senior class since the 30s to not beat Vandy at least once). We get a better / higher profile bowl at 7-5. Carry that momentum into the extra practices and show out in the bowl to help draft stock !!!

At this point, I'll take a win by any margin...pretty...ugly....by hook or crook. Just get the W.

Losing to Vandy should never be a viable thought in a Vol fans head.

Recent history suggests otherwise but it is time to restore the natural order and beat the s**t out of these pretentious douchebags today.

i think we will witness 3 years of frustration today...but we won't see it as closely as those wearing the anchors.

We have the tools and the ability to win big today, no excuses on that front. I think they have found the passion and desire to win now as well. We should roll this Vandy team. GBO!

I don't think it will be anywhere near a sell-out but I think the crowd will bring it (like USC) and the team will feed off them. Vandy doesn't have a chance today.

To all those at the game, have a great time and be loud!

Vandy is going to come out playing to win. They will pull out all the tricks in the bag and they have some solid offensive weapons. If we treat this game lightheartedly, it will be real close.
however, if the Vols come out with intensity, it won’t be close
The rain will help Candy and hurt our passing game too.

I mean if you look at our dominance period we went like 24-1 against this second tier athletic program. First tier academia but not athletics at least not football anyways. Fair statement?
Who or what was trying to get you to say it?

Lot's of snowflakes on this here board!

I don't know. Seems like there are a lot of thoughtful, funny, smart (and smart a$$, bless their hearts) people on here, just like in the community at large. The thing that brings (most) folks here is their decades-long emotional investment in UT and UT athletics and traditions over the years, and the UT football program in particular. After a decade of doubt, there's a lot of pent-up frustration and everybody just wants to get back to winning. Fans are seeing the Vols maybe turning the corner, and some are understandably skeptical. All just want the Vols to win, and especially to beat the Commodores like a rented mule. Go Big Orange! Make us proud!

It's a must win for Pruitt!! He won't get fired but losses to Ga St, BYU and Vandy in the same season would not play well with the fanbase.

You cannot devalue a loss today. What sounds better 7-5 or 6-6 ? 5-3 or 4-4 in SEC play? How does that play with instate in recruiting ? There are way too many benefits in winning this game.
