Privilege applies, in general, to requests for or receipt of legal advice. There can be an attorney client relationship without all communications being protected. For example, their discussions of a nytimes article is not protected. Their discussion of how Trump should respond to Mueller is protected.

We don't know the scope of what the two may have agreed for Giuliani to do. And yes, a discussion of a news article can be covered by the relationship depending on the scope of the representation.

Tweeting and playing golf? What major accomplishment has he done besides giving the mega rich and corporations (and himself) a massive tax break at the risk of the middle class? And what happened to all the furor about Obama playing golf...didn’t trump say he wouldn’t have time to play golf? Does that make him a liar or a flip flopper?
