Perhaps he could blame Macedonian Content Farms, suburban white women, Jim Comey, minions, left wing media, thousands of Russian agents, Valdimir Putin, voter suppression, FaceBook, millions of Twitter Bots, NetFlix, Anti-American Forces, bad polling, low information voters, colluding voting officials, stupid Americans who can't the difference between real and "fake news", the broad assumption that he was going to win, Wikileaks, Gucifer, DC leaks, the FBI, the GRU, he was too honest, the debate questions, President Obama.

Wait, what? You mean these were already used by Hillary? Oh, well. . .

Your hypothetical is a tad bit extreme to say the least , no president is going to try and stay in office if voted out . I’m going to answer by saying ... If the left doesn’t wrap up this impeachment thing PDQ , and it’s candidates running for POTUS doesn’t find more common ground with its voters across the spectrum, the problem you are worrying about will be a moot point . Just like the one where people thought he wouldn’t except the final results of the 2016 election since it was “ obvious “ he would lose , Or it would be like you waiting on Tums to reply to your post ... it’s not going to happen . 😊

No, I don't watch CNN anymore. I used to back when they covered more than just politics. I liked their sports coverage with Van Earl Wright, Vince Cellini, Nick Charles, Fred Hickman and Hannah Storm. I also used to like the stories that Jeanne Moos did but that was a long time ago. I will occasionally watch MSNBC, but that is mostly just Rachel Maddow or Lawrence O'Donnell at night when I can't find a good movie and there isn't a good game on.

Question: could the House and Senate both agree on, and both pass, a resolution censuring Trump and bypass formal impeachment?

I doubt it at this point as the Dems are locked into it, and the Republicans are locked into voting against it.
