Whoa, just caught up on your Pub thread. It needs a bit of a boost!

I do want to hear how the crockpot dressing goes! I was considering doing that, when I realized that I had no way to cook the cornbread. 1574472565582.gif

But Hubs and I are plotting a way to have a mini-Thanksgiving just for ourselves, if only to have leftovers, dammit. Electric skillet that blows the circuit breaker every 2-3 minutes, a worn-out crockpot of uncertain temperature control, and two 900-watt microwave ovens. What could go wrong?!?!

I’ll try to post something in your thread tomorrow.

Yep, brown the meat first of course. And it's more than ground beef and beans! Green pepper, red onion, and the diced tomatoes! I'll let it stay on high for about4 hpurs, then turn to low for a few hours before we eat.

What is it with cooking errythang in a crock pot these days? Ive seen people talking about cooking cornbread stuffing in a crock pot.
