Anybody interested in a Thanksgiving food thread? Here or in The Pub?
I might get banned for this, but Thanksgiving/Christmas/Easter dinners are my least anticipated meals of the year. And I’m not talking about the family/social aspect of it. A turkey sammich on occasion is ok, but it requires lots of condiments and sammich accessories to make it that way. No matter what you do to thanksgiving turkey, it’s only so good. Ham is better, but only marginally. Mashed taters and gravy are good, but when mashed taters and green beans are the highlight of my meal, something has gone seriously wrong. I don’t like yams, I don’t like cranberry sauce, stuffing/dressing is only worth about 3 bites. It’s just not that good of a meal in my opinion

I don't disagree with this, lol.

That being said, if you happen to be in Chattanooga, you have a seat at our table for Thanksgiving (no mashed potatoes or green beans).

no chili either, he might as well be pissing on the American flag

ME???ME???WTF??? I didn't just chit all over Thanksgiving dinner. Chicken pot pie is fine if you're a boring single person that lives out of a freezer and microwave.
judging from the nasty gif you posted, I ain't so sure. You might chit on your turkey

I kinda agree with behr on the chicken pot pie.
As for Thanksgiving / Christmas tradition
Fire 🔥 up the grill with bone 🍖 in ribeye 🥩
Shrimp skewers and asparagus
Put the baked potatoes and sweet potatoes on low aluminum foil on Wednesday on low temp
