The Impeachment Thread

Thank you for proving my point, even if you don’t know what the point was.
Oh no you don’t you double speak lawyer. You tried a “rule of law” sales pitch on the part of the left to overcome the religious rights “God and morality” narrative. I plainly stated the religious right doesn’t now and never will speak for me. And I see no valid “rule of law” stance from the left to overcome a narrative I’ve already rejected in my initial statement.

Your entire sales job is found wanting counselor. And your pissy dismissive reply doesn’t counter that.

But surely you agree that it’s disappointing to see this much slack in the line that represents the right’s efforts to resist the left’s push to replace to replace morality and God with the law.

Please give.

When you’ve finished this victory dance over your own goal, let me know and I’ll link you to where I explained my post to somebody else.

Spoiler alert: this word salad is in no way representative of what I said I meant by the post.

At least, I don’t think it is. I’m not gonna lie and say I read past the fourth word where I realized you were doing your Quixote thing where you make up the arguments you want me to be making and insist they’re my actual arguments.

He is the point the Dems are missing big time...

When this impeachment fails and the American public get to where they totally check out on everything the Dems blame Trump for due to exhaustion, he is then going to become an even bigger douche to deal with it and going to do everything possible to get payback. He is wired that way.

You can only throw so many conspiracy theories and false accusations at him and his Supreme Court nominations before the Boy who cried wolf scenario comes into play.

Then if he actually does do something no one is going to believe the Dems or even care.

We are honestly very close to getting there.
I don't think the Mueller report and Investigation in Russia manipulating our elections was nothing. There are people in jail right now, and Mueller said that there was smoke surrounding Trump and he did obstruct justice, the Democrats chose not to follow up on it. I have heard all of this impeachment trial, whether watching live or replay and it is serious and obvious that Trump held aid to get dirt on a Biden, which is very much like a dictator. The question is whether it is impeachable. ( I am trying not to be bias over all the other stuff he has pulled while President and before, which makes it hard)

I agree that Trump will do everything to get payback if not fired.

If you believe that just because Yanukovych was forced out and Tymoshenko released as a result of the 2014 protests, all the Russian stooges were out of the mix, then you clearly aren't paying attention.
Is that kind of like how Trump promised to “drain the swamp” in 2016, but in 2019, his apologists claim all the people testifying in his impeachment hearings are swampy deep staters?

That is the problems with illogical arguments. They tend to be self-defeating.
It certainly seems inconsistent to say Ukraine’s swamp evaporated immediately but Trump is still being hamstrung by ours after three years.

Maybe Ukraine’s politicians are just more effective than Trump?

More like "rule of laws that we are writing as we go along".

Still all about the Russians huh? Do you check for Russians under your bed every night before you go to sleep?

What was illogical? That the op-Ed was written a year after the Ukrainian revolution removed the pro-Russia government?

Or is it illogical to compare a military revolution that physically changes the structure and personnel of the government to a campaign slogan?

🤦‍♂️

There was no victory dance nor were there any windmills harmed in the forming of my reply. One thing wording wise I didn’t like in my initial reply, I stated you made a religious appeal on Trump, no just the opposite you made a religious stance exclusion appeal which I support and did so in my reply. I butchered that badly but I think the rest of my reply was clear on that. Well... as clear as I usually am anyway.

Ukrainian gov so full of Russian stooges then Russia had to invade.

Lol. What victim mentality? I've never seen you go after anyone with a D beside their name like you have with Trump. Just pointing out the double standard. It's ok to be a liberal and hate Trump but don't think it shouldn't be pointed out.

Trump is human garbage, I'd think so irrespective of what letter he has behind his name. I never liked Obama's foreign or domestic policy, but would still have a beer with him. Hillary can rot for all I care, but she's not the president so...

Your suggestion that it's only "R's" who are scrutinized is that of a revisionist history, but I suppose what you see depends on where you sit.
