They didn't have to.

And you're missing the point....last year we got down a lot because teams had a field day against us from 3. It happened over and over and is still happening. Maybe we should, I don't know....start defending it better at some point.

Vols' 3 point defense has been a consistent problem under Barnes. Probably my biggest complaint about his coaching.

Still looking for an inside game presence to replace some of Grant's production. Fulky has stepped up, but gets silly fouls. Pons doing much better, but want to see him more inside. Also am hoping to see Pember get in the rotation inside as well.

No doubt, however as I said, if you can keep it close when a team is hot like that you will be OK (cause it won’t last)........as long as you take care of business, when they cool down.

Just hope Tennessee played better. Especially on the boards.

It's a tough pill to swallow when the other team is the Defensive aggressor and has half the number of fouls....

Pons surprising with his shooting ability. Bowden and Turner need to help out on the offensive end. Expected James to be more of an offensive threat but that may come as the season progresses.

I'm not overreacting at all. This is a tram that lost 70% of its scoring and much of its leadership. Tennessee has no inside presence and is young.
