Commerce clause doesn't apply here. There's no restriction on this kid going to a school that isn't an NCAA member, playing overseas or otherwise seeking employment. He also didn't move from one state to another so it's not a state to state issue. He entered into a voluntary agreement when he chose an NCAA school.
I agree. I just haven't noticed many judges being shy about ignoring legal precedent and all known forms of reason and just doing whatev they feel like pontificating.

My understanding is that Cobb wasn’t at the stage requiring dismissal. Majors had a zero tolerance policy that had only gotten stricter since Tony Robinson’s troubles
Always seemed like he could have done that 4 days later and won the national championship.

Edit: Which is not to say, do nothing.

The article said it would be funded entirely from private donations.

KEEP NEYLAND UNTOUCHED

It should be an uncomfortable experience for our rivals. Why give them a modern bathroom when they can instead pee in a trough surrounded by weird smells and leaky pipes? Concourses should remain dark and claustrophobic. Some should even lead nowhere or to an unexpected exit. The uneven concrete floors add a certain charm, too. Let’s not lose this competitive advantage.

In fairness, those bathrooms are gonna smell whether you pee in a trough or in a urinal. You've got nothing to worry about there.
