On the other hand, win all three and I think recruiting will take off. Win a bowl game and keep the momentum going. It may actually be the upturn to relevance that we've been waiting for.

Correct on all counts. We all feel really good about the past month because we think it almost guarantees a great last month. And while it does certainly point to things going in the right direction, losing two out of three is still a possibility and would devastate the everyone again.

And recruiting “taking off” still doesn’t mean we’re going to be competing for a top 8 class, I wouldn’t imagine. Not after the start to the year.

If we absolutely swept our remaining targets I think that puts us around 10th, which is where we’ve always historically floated around.

Here is the way I see this. Regardless of what anyone thinks of JG the kid just plays much better competing against JT or Maurer . Since Pruitt started this type of rotation JG knows he is in a battle for his starting position and it has helped his game performance. Pruitt started out with "JG isn't going to have to look over his shoulder" and now has relented to on the field, on gameday competition. A royal battle for the position in the public eye

I think this class is probably going to be be a little meh even if we win out. I think it will have a greater affect on 2021. More kids will want to jump in earlier.

Yeah the biggest thing about getting to a bowl is it gets Pruitt totally off the hot seat. That’s what’s holding our recruiting up.

It sucks. If we’re ever gonna get back, he’s gonna have to overachieve. If we can get to 9-10 wins next year, recruiting will soar. But until then, this is where we are.

It’s insanity. A clear pattern is emerging of the coaches missing on their targets and the gut reaction is to blame the kids. It makes zero sense.

Pretty much. Some will quickly forget this and Mizzou are coinflip games. Not to mention we already overshot Miss St and USC expectations by a country mile. I know expectations always change and tend to go up, up, and further up, but we just need to find a way to win 1 of the next 2 and pick our boys back up if we don't get this one. Bowl game is errrthing.

Going to be very interesting to see if we’ve truly turned the corner. It felt that way vs. South Carolina but the proof is in the pudding.

Get to a bowl game and I think what that does is allow Pruitt to lose to Oklahoma and Florida next year without people all over him. Not getting to a bowl this year means you’re going to have to beat one of those two I think and that’s a really tough ask.

We lose tomorrow and I doubt we make a bowl. No bowl and the recruiting dominos likely fall the wrong way.

Edit: What I'm saying is IF we lose tomorrow, then I doubt we make a bowl. I'm not predicting we lose tomorrow. We're the better team and we should win.

Good thing we won't lose to UK. Some of our fans might be hanging their heads and assuming a loss but I doubt our staff or players are planning to lose tomorrow night. They know how important this game is and I can't see Pruitt, JJ and the other leaders allowing a loss. Won't happen.

I think it would take a total reversal of what we’ve seen the last month in order for us to lose but I don’t think that’s impossible.
