You think another program’s going to hire him as an OC? He’ll get a raise...already has.

I think another program could be very liberal with a title just to lure him away from us. Co-OC is what I’m suggesting.

Maybe AssistanttoHead Coach.

Don’t make Ron bust out the star rating average.

Posting it here because I put Orange Doofus on ignore and can’t see the thread anymore - but I sincerely hope the staff stops recruiting Hardy altogether.

I hate Clemson and Dabo, but I love Dabos kinda cavalier mindset of if you wanna be here then awesome, but if not then good luck.

If the story from Price is legit - then Hardy did the staff unnecessarily dirty. You made your bed, enjoy Auburn, where the coach lives on a perpetual hot seat.

Pruitt is going to turn Tennessee around. I don’t have a doubt about that in my mind at all. Let’s do it with guys who want to be Tennessee Volunteers.
Hard disagree here. He’s a 17 year old kid who handled things poorly. I don’t blame him as much as the people around him who should be raising a better man. What he did is sh!tty, but he’s a big time prospect. Has the size and athleticism to be something special. I really like Pruitt and think he cares about these kids. I hope he flips come NSD and Pruitt/Fulmer and co. are able to shape him into a better man, all the while he kicks ass for us in orange.

But it's easier to be petty :(

So wait for potential transfer portal??

Dabo is in a completly different position than us.

If we can flip him, take him.

Kentucky has started to figure something out, and even with their early loses they have yet to give up 30 points to anyone. Don't fansplain' away the stats...Kentucky is a better defense than UAB, not sure how/why anyone would disagree with that.
Not disputing this, but i bet we play cards on offense this week that were never shown vs. UAB.

Someone help me out please. What did Price say? I've completely missed what's happening here.

After a physical practice Tuesday, Tennessee was back in shells for a lighter workout Wednesday as it continue its prep for Kentucky (7:30 p.m., SEC Network). Much of the focus this afternoon was on specific scheme stuff for the Wildcats.

The media saw two open periods and here are some quick observations…

For the second straight practice, Brian Maurer took all the first reps — in both run-game work and pass skeleton. The freshman was sporting a new big sleeve on his right arm, misfiring on several early throws before settling in. Josh Palmer was the star of routes on air though, making several impressive catches. Jarrett Guarantano still had his left hand heavily wrapped and JT Shrout wore a left knee brace.

Elsewhere, Tennessee worked a couple different OL combinations Wednesday, as freshman left tackle Wanya Morris (left ankle) was a non-participant. Jahmir Johnson took all the first-team reps, while Marcus Tatum worked some with both the 1s and 2s at right tackle. Freshman right tackle Darnell Wright (ankle) worked with Jackson Lampley and the 3s during individual work, but he did slot in for a couple reps with the first-team group (Johnson, Trey Smith, Brandon Kennedy, Jerome Carvin). Wright was clearly hobbled and looks questionable for Saturday.

Defensively, Kevin Sherrer was leading the team’s nickel and rabbit’s pass rush drill, with Henry To’oto’o and Daniel Bituli the two inside linebackers with Kivon Bennett and Darrell Taylor stand-up rushers. Latrell Bumphus and Darel Middleton were the lone linemen, while John Mincey and Aubrey Solomon rotated in.

Tracy Rocker had his group working on some base 3-4 stunts, and the veteran DL coach was not happy with Matthew Butler after a poor rep. Butler tried to plead his case on his mistake, and Rocker wasn’t having any of it. Meanwhile, backup defensive lineman Savion Williams was sporting a big club on his left hand.

For one period, Tennessee’s secondary continued its focus on tackling and avoiding cut blocks in advance of facing Kentucky’s ‘Wildcat’ attack.

Final injury note: Jerrod Means hasn’t played in a couple weeks but was spotted on the stationary bike today.

he was absolutely stunned at the pick. everybody got blindsided. he was informed it was UT, as was pretty much everyone else....until this morning.

Last visits to Auburn (or any school but especially, Auburn) are always a 50/50 proposition in terms of commits. I don't see how Price didn't see that as a huge warning sign unless he was thoroughly convinced by people inside Hardy's camp that Hardy was committing to us. JMO.

i think that's been covered extensively today as to how everyone was as surprised as they were.
