'20 TN DE/LB Tyler Baron (UT SIGNEE)

AtlVol, the Great Tennessee Volunteers Bagman of Bagmen said he countered yesterday, got everything square......he was obviously wrong yet again.
Hardy lied to everyone. Commitment was filmed, story was written. Not just Hardy, his family said he was coming to Tennessee. How the hell do you blame that on someone?

the writing has been on the wall for awhile now...i think. he could just as easily commit to TN, maybe he really is conflicted. But, you cant place your fingers in ears and say 'la la la' hoping the elephant goes away. there's something that we arent showing these kids thst they need to see.
It’s probably simple as winning

Haven't heard that. Thanks for the info.
AP went all in the CB's and future casts etc.. are bad for recruitments like this...steals the thunder from the kid. so he's either trying to create some drama for himself by extending the process or he's really looking around simply becasue he's tired of hearing how he's definitley going to TN.

either way, safe to say his recruitment isn't over, and it's not probably going as well as we have thought/hoped/believed.

Auburn is one greasy fart away from crapping itself and it all going down in a ball of flames. They are on the verge of becoming us 12 years ago, when they fire Gus, if they don’t make a homerun hire.
This. I’m hoping Gus gets canned and auburn sinks to an ole miss/Mississippi state level for a while.

well said.

who cares. go where you want to go, we need to be able to recruit coast to coast to get the best. Neids get it, most of you, do not.
i don't disagree.

but baron and hardy are top 150 players. and they're in our backyard and seeing them go elsewhere blows.

and it's not like we didn't do the right things in recruiting them. and it's not like we have a bunch of other top 150 DL waiting on a spot to open up in our class....no matter where they're from. we were/are counting on both of them to be part of this class. and until today had every reason to think they were going to be.

Why count on them? Because of where they live? Screw that! Did we try to get a qb from TN? Hell no! Go out and get VOLUNTEERS from any and every state, then when someone who happens to live close goes to Auburn you say, "good luck bud." and you aren't all defeated and pissy over it. If you recruit nationally, it tells the in-state kids that they can either jump in the boat and fast or screw off, go somewhere else and enjoy a new experience. We have to stop this in-state hillbilly pride mentality over high schoolers if we ever want to get back to the elite.

Well you see the kids from elsewhere see us as a joke and don’t take us seriously, so you have to start locally.

Am I the only person that still think we land him? He’s already been creating drama by flirting with schools like Ohio State and Kentucky, just like Keshawn did with Miami.
