Game thread: LADY VOLS VS. ETSU

It could've been a 20 point win turned out to be a 4 point win. When it was 13 we needed to make some shots take some better shots. When you go three minutes without a score and the other team is either scoring or going to the free throw line this happens. The first place to start is not put a team on the line we'll have to stop fouling.

Played defense with our hands away from our body, pushing, grabbing. Many were ticky-tack, but they were there to be called and we didn't make much if any adjustment to what they were calling. Some of the fouls on our bigs were sympathy fouls.

Game #1 Tenn wins........Lol.....Kelly Harper sucks. First game..........it's not the SEC Championship Game.

A lot of fans will be disappointed and bad mouth KJH, because the team did not beat ETSU like they owned them, however, the Lady Vol are starting fresh with a very young team. ETSU, though not a D 1 team, is more experienced with a more veteran line up. KJR really has to determine her starting five. You add to that, the refs were less than stellar. There are a lot of things that need to be sured up. This team will go through some learning pains. This is an athletic team with a lot of promise.

I think ETSU was replacing 4 of their top 6 from last year.

Actually, my opinion is based off of her body of work as a head coach. I said this same thing when she was hired. And, if you read my post, I made sure to put in there that it was MY OPINION

I like it. And Green first off the bench. I like Green, but I feel like Brown brings the necessary experience and steadiness that could help when there are two freshmen on the floor.

etsu is a D1 team but not a good one . And record last year in a small conference. Check it out

I was very impressed with Lou Brown's performance tonight. She has a very calming influence on the team. A great pickup for the Lady Vols.
