Crazy that Minnesota has one of the best coaches in football. Props to that AD. His name is picking up steak in nfl circles. Has a lot of Sean Mcvay qualities and concepts.

That is a lot but not all attrition is bad attrition. We are a prime example of that.

ESPN is fond of that UT can't win on the road narrative, but it's a bit misleading. We've only played two games OTR this year-- Florida and Bama, both Top 10 teams. IDT the road cost us those games. We just weren't playing at their level. UK is not at that level, and we need to beat them, anywhere we play them. Look for that ESPN crawl about UT being winless OTR since October 2018, though. It's what they do.

Ummm...about that Bama game...It actually is evidence to the contrary..we played up to and beyond their level...they had a lot of help from the zebras.

It’s not Ubben’s job to propagandize the Tennessee Vols. The athletic dept does it constantly. Ainge pumps sunshine on the radio and twitter for us. Even the VQ and 247 guys are afraid to reveal the true warts of the program. The Travis Haney overreaction is still fresh in their minds.

Sure. Sometimes guys turn out to be disappointments in character or ability. Parting ways before things sour can be best for both. Depth is a bit overblown at times. You’re never going to have a perfect depth chart every year that just moves up position by position. I’m not trying to defend Florida bc i hate them but i could think of 10 guys from pruitts or any others first two classes that if they left today we wouldn’t miss a beat.

You don’t have to take my word for it. His contract and the attention he’s getting speaks for its self. Name me a better coaching job in the last decade over taking WMU to a bcs bowl and improving every year at Minn to have them 8-0 right now.

I get that people think he’s cheesy which may be part of it but dude is a maniac when it comes to schematics, film, and football. He’s also a huge cultural / locker room guy. That’s why i think FSU would hit the lottery getting him. Minnesota AD knew they were interested and went to battle. The timing isn’t just a coincidence.
