1. I love Pruitt and I see where this is going with him at UT so I hope he stays 30 years. However, they're not even calling Pruitt. Pruitt is 9-12 so far at UT. Taggart was 9-12 at FSU. You don't fire someone in year two, pay an $18mil buyout, and hire someone with the identical record.

2. Pruitt and staff have been working their asses off rebuilding a program in Knoxville and are starting to see it turn. You think he's going to leave that to start over, again, in Tallahassee? Not a chance.

3. Phillip Fulmer is Pruitt's AD and has given him everything he's asked for and then some. You don't walk away from a boss like that to jump head first into a dumpster fire. Fulmer wouldn't let him leave anyway, he'd give him a raise if he had to.

4. FSU isn't a better job, sorry, it's not.

Man, it's going to take a long time and many years of therapy for our fans to have their BVS repaired if we're already worried about Pruitt leaving for the newly vacant FSU job. Wait until we're 9-3 or 10-2 next fall and some good jobs come open...the meltdowns for no reason will be aplenty!

no, I don’t think he would, but it’s hilarious that it’s virtually the same scenario as Kiffin USC, which was ludicrous when it opened up.

Just sayin

Both are fertile for sure. I do think getting to the CFPs would be easier at FSU. But in my homer opinion, I don’t think it’s better at all. So it’s subjective for sure. That being said, it shocked me that Jimbo would leave for A&M. Being in the SECW makes it extremely difficult. I guess he had 100 million reasons to go.🤷🏽‍♂️

No doubt money and I think a very dirty divorce played a factor too iirc

Uros Plavsic has his waiver and appeal denied when by all accounts was a shoe-in to be approved and this hasn't been brought up??? Fulmer's statement had a little extra sauce to it by Fulmer's standards imo. Sure seems like it could be a personal vendetta. Sadly the one suffering the most is the kid.

Still think FSU being probably 4th or 5th -in state- in facilities doesn't help that job. Ya know Florida and Miami have better facilities, and with the success & money being thrown at UCF & USF they might even have better facilities, and people tend to forget that Tallahassee isn't a huge city either it's 14th largest in the state. Bigger than Gainesville, but otherwise (Tampa) USF, (Orlando) UCF, Miami are all larger populations. And if their facilities are equal or better, why would you want to go to Tallahassee? Not even on a beach...

FSU is Pruitt's dream job? I thought, if anything, that would be Bama. Now when Saban retires, I'll be worried until that job is filled. Hopefully it's Dabo and not Pruitt.

No way Ron, FSU all day! He was the DC there for an ENTIRE season, born and raised in nearby Rainsville, AL. He also went to school at Alabama in Tuscaloosa which is real close by. He basically grew up in Doak Campbell Stadium's shadow man.

Girls. That town is slap full of them and most are hot AF and ready to party. Think Girls Gone Wild year round.

I didn't figure it was exactly like the tweet portrayed things but still, it's a little weird.

Just another tiny notch to go with the mittens, the dancing and the goofy presser answers. Good coach but just so dweebish.

From my buddy who is a big alum at MSU and actually hosted Dan for the Memphis golf tournament, Mrs. Mullen is apparently the normal one.

I mean, don't think they out number Miami or even Orlando...and unfortunately I don't think that's as big of a draw as it used to be.

That is always a big draw and always will be. Nowhere in FL, and very few places in the country, can compete with the volume of concentrated hotties...and they outnumber the amount of males by a good bit.

It's extraordinary how easy it is for an average dude to get laid by smoking hot girls in that town. Throw in being an athlete and game over. UCF and UF are the only schools even close and they are still well behind.

Miami isn't nearly as good as you would expect....and most of the hot girls there are hanging out on South Beach trying to land a sugar daddy.

It's not the same unless Pruitt told the AD explicitly and before he was hired that he would take that job if it opened up and then the AD hired him anyway, and then lied by omission and pretended like he didn't know and deflected the anger toward the guy who told the truth up front when the latter did what he said he would do.

Oh guess you live there then?
