I don’t think it’s stirring the pot or a knock on us. There’s just some jobs that are always going to be better.Comparable does not mean better. You know you're not going to get people to agree with you, except for the normal contrarians. Why stir this pot. It's not going to end well.
Now, Hank, you said it's better in virtually every way. Then you said it was comparable in money. So they have an easier conference and recruiting, but we have a better AD and fans. Comparable in other ways. So it's not a better job in every way. And some coaches actually like the challenge of having to play the best. Some like CUM have health issues and don't want competition.Which school do you think it’s easier to win a conference and national title at?
And yet they're not in the playoffs. There must be something you're leaving out of the "all".You don’t have to leave your state to recruit, you have the easiest P5 conference imo, you have very recent championships, countless NFL players. Saying a school like FSU, Ohio state, texas etc is a better “job“ than us isn’t a shot. There’s a handful that have it all. FSU is one of them.

Yeah, automatically thought of Spurrier. Still had plenty enough college cred to get something *easier than SC when he returned. Now, Hank, you said it's better in virtually every way. Yeah, like Charger said easier is not better to all people. As far as ADs go their AD has their athletic department in a total mess to which we can relate to. Our AD absolutely loves Tennessee, which is priceless, and he took a horrible situation and got us a football coach. He is willing to give him everything he needs to succeed and help him get there. He has the actual experience as a NC HC which is invaluable. Sorry that you can't appreciate that.Comparable in money meaning they have enough to spend with the big boys. They may not spend quite as much as us but as long as you have X amount then it’s fine. Ie: they may have 100mil and we have 120mil.
Idk even how to compare ADs either way. They are both new and have nothing of merit under their built as ADs as far as i know.
It’s easier to win there by a lot. That’s really all it boils down to.
Just started Jack Ryan, season 1. Two episodes in, wow this is intense. Each episode feels like a movie.
Question, wife watched Episode 1 with me and when homeboy pulled a machine gun out of the cadaver, she was out.... does it stay pretty bloody and crazy?
Lets see what happens with Pruitts coaches after the season ends. I suspect their could be a large exodus. I could be wrong but with what I see on the sidelines I have to wonder if some of them stay regardless of the money. They are all mercenaries. If money was right, he would take it. But, money won’t be right at this point in his career.
LOL at your rankingsI don’t think it’s stirring the pot or a knock on us. There’s just some jobs that are always going to be better.
USC, Texas, UF, FSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma and LSU are the best jobs in the country bc They have the resources and more advantages in profile and pipelines over any other place.
I would group Tennessee in with Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Clemson, ND, Michigan etc.
