Just started Jack Ryan, season 1. Two episodes in, wow this is intense. Each episode feels like a movie.

Question, wife watched Episode 1 with me and when homeboy pulled a machine gun out of the cadaver, she was out.... does it stay pretty bloody and crazy?

I think FSU would be attractive to anyone because of the tremendous amount of high school talent in Florida. I guess I’d be surprised if Pruitt garnered any serious consideration.

First off there’s no way we’ll be 8-5 when they make the hire. We could possibly be 7-5 but as I understand the timing of the firing, it was tied to the idea of getting someone in place before the ESD. So if we were 7-5 then Pruitt’s record as a head coach would be 0.500. I’m not sure that’s going to be attractive to the people who have just raised 20 million bucks to kick off this coaching change.

Secondly, there were whispers regarding Pruitt personal conduct the one year (2013) he was at FSU. I don’t know the details but anyone opposing his hire would likely make certain to spill the beans. So as I’ve always understood it, Pruitt going to Georgia was because he HAD to leave FSU. I mean think about it, if he stays, they very well likely repeat in 2014 as National Champions.

Lastly, FSU is reportedly making this move because they’re losing money, football revenues. So you really think they’re going to try to sell their fanbase the guy who lost to Georgia State THIS YEAR? Almost everybody, may not everyone, but most put that loss squarely on the head coach. Even he took the responsibility for it. I don’t think they try to make that sale.

Pruitt is our coach. We’re stuck with him and until he does something better here than he has so far he’s probably stuck with us. You might even say, assuming you have faith in what he’s doing here, we’re fortunate that he hasn’t started off well enough to create a stellar resume just yet.

I was living in Ann Arbor in 2014/15 when Michigan was going through their last coaching search. I had a project over in Jackson. Anyway, there were fans there that were discussing Butch Jones as a candidate. I was begging them to take him. Of course I couldn’t post that on here because most people here were still in love with him.

My advice to FSU fans who may consider Pruitt as a candidate is DON’T. You don’t want the guy. He sucks. Seminoles could do a lot better. Trust me on this. jmo.

So there's no way the good thing could happen, but if there's a miracle for the good thing then the worst thing would happen? Cat, we really need to work on how you view things.
