I'm not sure I agree with that strategy. Surely they wouldn't be of that line of thinking going into next year, because as it stands right now all three could return. To me if they think Maurer is the guy he needs to be out there full time starting next Saturday night. If all three are healthy this carousel they're on doesn't make sense IMO. Pick a guy and stick with him.

It makes sense to me. Maurer is probably our guy going forward along with Bailey. Another hit or two to Maurer could jeopardize a longer career. With the way our defense is playing, I have no problem monitoring snaps and using all 3 guys.

Also, if he wins 6 games in a year he has another year added to the end of the contract automatically.....just like Fulmer. Stock will coach there until he doesn’t want to anymore.

Agreed. A friend of his posted this picture. The shoulder wrap he played wearing looks pretty intense.

Standard shoulder brace. Limits range of motion to reduce chances of hyperextension and worsening the injury until his muscles restrengthen and heal. I wore the same brace.
