So we have a chance.

Say it again. I just like the sound of it.I think our coaches take each week differently and have a plan to win that specific game and what's the best way to do that. Pruitt learned this lesson after the GA State game. The defense is now ahead of the offense and they are managing the O with care to get W's. They're going to shut down UK's running game next week and create multiple turnovers and good field position for the offense. It'll look a lot like the USC game. Hopefully Maurer is ready to go this week and stays healthy the entire game. If he does, I expect to see many explosive plays downfield and another big win.
It's hard for me to me envision Kentucky having much success on offense against the defense we've seen over the last few weeks. The defensive coaches have done a fine job. I still think it will be a tough game Saturday night. Especially if Maurer doesn't play and Guarantano gets most of the snaps.I think our coaches take each week differently and have a plan to win that specific game and what's the best way to do that. Yep and let the players prove on the field of play who should be starting. Quit yanking the QB's in and out. Lets see the real competition on the field of play and may the best leader among the QB's win !I'm not sure I agree with that strategy. Surely they wouldn't be of that line of thinking going into next year, because as it stands right now all three could return. To me if they think Maurer is the guy he needs to be out there full time starting next Saturday night. If all three are healthy this carousel they're on doesn't make sense IMO. Pick a guy and stick with him.
Pretty much game plan as last year. Although Wilson was a better passer. Is Sawyer Smith hurt?I think our coaches take each week differently and have a plan to win that specific game and what's the best way to do that. Pruitt learned this lesson after the GA State game. I will say this about Maurer. If he plays Saturday and gets hurt again, we can probably forget about him having much impact going forward. It would be no coincidence that the kid gets hurt four out of five games that he plays in. I hope that doesn't happen.Yep and let the players prove on the field of play who should be starting. Kentucky big nose guard is brutal if he is healthy. No pocket to step into. Kentucky will blitz often imo. I agree, but the kid is a spark. That is my complaint about last nights game. JG was taking some hard hits and when you are falling to the ground it's just normal to put your hand down to brace yourself and we could have lost JG for the rest of the season.I will say this about Maurer. Home game for UK and UT is 0-2 on the road, although the team did not seem to be bothered at all by the Bammer crowd and the Las Vegas laser show they had to endure in Tuscaloosa. I don't think they will be intimidated by the Kroger crowd either.
Yes, they did so well last I felt sorry for that QB that kept being slammed to the ground. Was just thinking they needed to take him out so he would be available for their games that matter when he got hurt. Hope they keep improving and our recruits join the fun.Don’t know about y’all but I love having a good defensive team. You can win a lot of games like this. Chaney will get the O fixed soon
