This game confirms it for me. The staff clearly doesn't trust JT. Maurer is pretty good but cannot stay healthy. JG is JG. Good enough to get by, not good enough to beat good teams. I expect Harrison Bailey to come in and start as a true freshman and judging by the QB rotation tonight and last week, this staff does too. The announcers said Pruitt told them in the pre game meetings that JG is the best QB on the roster BY FAR. Either he was lying or.....Bailey will be the starter next year.

Wouldn't it be funny if Bailey came here and had to battle JG, Maurer, Shrout and Hill? Who knows who is going to win. I'm not so sure JG just up and quits on this team transferring out. I don't really GAF who ends up being the starter. I just want to win. From what I have seen tonight JG is the guy that is going to give us the win tonight. Shrout looked lost and I thought he did great last week. Maurer is hurt? It doesn't really matter to me. I'm not emotionally invested in any of them like a lot of fans seem to be. From where I'm sitting the competition seems to be good. And other guys are emerging as leaders on this team too.

I don’t think Shrout got enough series to tell much.
Hard to do anything when you play one series and then sit.
Maybe if he was productive in the series that he had, he wouldn't have to sit. That last throw he had should have been an INT.

How many HS prodigies have there been that didn't pan out at the next level? Let's not crown him before he even signs the LOI.
I'm not crowning him anything. Just think he will start game 1 next season. Never said he will win anything. That remains to he seen.
