The Impeachment Thread

The “squad” makes up 4 representatives in overwhelmingly blue districts. Nancy has no problem ignoring the squad, and she has shown it. See her dismissal of the green new deal.

Exactly. None of the Rs you mentioned would lose their seat if they went against Trump.

I knew there was a reason that she was darling of the right. Russian asset, huh?
You're not familiar with the exchange? Or are you just "winking" your way out of me being correct that the entire Russian accusation thing is little more than an embarrassing political meme as far as the average American is concerned?

I am curious of what those that lean a little to the left on this board have to say about what Tim Morrison said about the call? Apparently he was listening to the call and didn't have any concerns that what was said was illegal.

It's great to see the impeachment process formalized. Fortunately, there are still some lawmakers with an ethical compass that decided to stand up for democracy, the constitution, and free and fair elections. Meanwhile, the GOP sits on their hands, they are now on record as endorsing foreign leaders investigating political rivals for personal gain. It's pathetic to see how far Republicans have sunk in an effort to maintain power.

Like Obama endorsing Trudeau ??

GOP not on record for anything. This wasn't even a vote to impeach. This was just the vote to approve the rules of an impeachment inquiry. Which should have been done a month ago before to monkey show. They had it back asswards.

I remember it being discussed like a year ago. I imagine it didn't come out of thin air, but I don't care enough to look into it, presently.

As far as propaganda goes, I'd rank in 1000 times more likely than Pizzagate.

Catherine Herridge reported today that Taylor testified that Vindman was concerned about how the call would "affect bi-partisan support for Ukraine". Nothing about anything illegal. Sounds like a policy difference with the man born in Ukraine.

Lets see. Catherine said that Taylor said that Vindman.....uh.....weren't you guys just raging about hearsay.

A year ago, huh? Or, like less than two weeks ago? The **** show of Hillary Clinton accusing Tulsi Gabbard and Tulsi firing back on Twitter, exclaiming how chin-drool crazy Hillary was for trying to play that tired card?

You may want to "look into" things a bit more before posturing here about public perceptions.

Yes, and what a great day for democracy and congressional oversight.
