Yeah I saw... but I am a Vol because I am a Tennessean, not because of any player. The opportunity they have exists because of us, not them. If ALL the top players went to a minor league instead of college...I would never watch their stupid minor league, and would still watch and support everything UT.
It is a two way street. We all need each other to make it happen.

Ok don’t shoot the messenger if this doesn’t happen. One of Kirbys staff members was offered a coordinator job at a smaller school. Ask why he didn’t take it he said.
They think Saban is done after next season. Dabo won’t take the job but Kirby will and he wants to coach at Bama so he’s hanging with him.
I am not going to shoot you. I will also not believe it until I see it.

I'd much rather think about Salma

My guess is the Cade rumors are only from him visiting with Cooper. Makes no sense though sense UGA would never let him transfer in the same division of the same conference
I don't believe he is coming here, but Georgia has absolutely zero say in the matter. The only thing they could do would be to do everything they can to make him sit out a year after he transferred.

Bring you joy?

What, will they be taxed regressively? I'm quite sure their payments would be as normal income, therefore progressive. More you make, higher % taxed...fair. Unless you mean in TN, the regressive TN sales and Hall (retiree) tax.
Let's not forget the lottery.

Wouldn’t be able to stop him. He’d have to sit out a transfer redshirt year, but the days of teams being able to block are over.
They actually never could block them, at least not in recent history. They could fail to "release" them and that prohibited them from being on scholarship the first year. You probably already know this, though.

SEC rule still exists on transferring in conference - sit out a year, unless grad transfer.

How do some of y’all come up with this stuff? JJ Peterson has been here for what, maybe 3 months? Not to mention he is behind some studs that are playing solid.

He has been on campus for 15 (?) months. Cleared by the NCAA for about a year. It is a little concerning he can’t crack the 2 deep. And we have little talent and depth there anyway.

Michigan averages almost twice that of the Detroit lions. Should I do Cleveland browns and Ohio State?
Just look at viewership for the marquee college game of every week vs the marquee pro game. Across the country except for the south pro wins almost every time. Heck the super bowl gets 3 or 4 times more viewers than the CF championship. I guess you can cherry pick some states where the college team has been above average to dominant recently and the respective NFL team has been horrible forever to make your case, but overall pro football draws heavier than college outside the south.

o_O never buy nothin'

G'night suga you have ventured into the surreal.
What is a full scholarship athlete out there buying in significant quantities that they are paying Sales Tax on?

Groceries? No
Utilities? No
Housing? No
Transportation? No

They don’t BUY anything of substance to pay Sales Tax on.

Get outta here with your sorry ass crusade against the “burdensome” nature of the Sales Tax on the working poor.

Not relevant here.

I just saw the score from the Wizards-Rockets game...this is in regulation...and isn't an all-star game. Harden had 59. Both teams shot over 53% from the field.

I just looked it up the average NFL game has about 7 million for regional games and 16 for nationally televised games which equals 10.6 million people on average. Where as college football games on major channels is about 2 million. Though there are more college games there is only 15 on an average week on major channels. Just wanted to note viewership not saying one is better or worse.

Lol, you jumped in to back KV's claim, and I quote
College football is not better than professional football to anyone outside of the south with a direct tie to a large collegiate program.
And reduced the point to "overall".
Wasn't exactly the discussion.

Earl can barely walk from the football injuries to his knees. He must have some type of head injury also :):)
Watched a couple of interviews with him yesterday, looking for this one. I wouldn't worry too much about what EC says, your comment is closer than you think.

It was honestly sad listening to him speak.
