Lol. You are actually comparing $5K stipend to what they will make of this Pandora's box is opened?
Sure, the $100 to use one's likeness and image in EA College Football is going to rot everyones' souls 🤣 I have a little more faith in our boys. They will still be VFLs, loyal to their team, and give 100% for Pruitt and the program, no matter how much $10 signed autographs tug at their souls 🤣

College football is not better than professional football to anyone outside of the south with a direct tie to a large collegiate program.
We pay as much as Bama and Clemson. We just don’t have success and NFL pedigree to match what they have.

šŸ˜‚ That's pretty incredible information to claim posession of in back to back posts.

Ohio State says hi. Michigan says hi. Penn State says hi. Wisconsin says hi. There's tons of markets in the north where college football is huge.

It's all your opinion and I disagree whole heatedly.
I’d say those markets care about the Bears, Lions, Steelers, Eagles and Packers as much if not more.

So Podunk University is now Playboy College Edition, but for athletes?

So you immediately made the jump to nudes?? Wtf.. I seriously doubt that’ll fly with the NCAA. Swim teams still wear swim suits the last time I saw an event on tv and swim suits come in a variety of styles.

Unless you have some facts to back that up, I have to disagree. Do I think we pay players? Absolutely. Do I think we're even in the same Galaxy as the aforementioned teams, absolutely not.

I bet the numbers are similar among most historical blue bloods. I think there’s an unspoken checks and balances system going on. All the ā€œhavesā€ are offering similar perks, and when a have goes way overboard, or when a have not (Ole Miss) tries fishing in the waters with the big boys, they feel the consequences.

That said, I do think Bama has been pushing the envelope under Saban for a long time and they’re essentially invulnerable because of their success and because Bama fans control that state/Saban is buddies with Mark Emmert.

3 years from now.......

"blue chip 5 star prospect Jon Smith picks Ohio State over Alabama and LSU. when asked about his decision he said he really likes the high level of jersey sales as well as the amount of commercials that players get to do to for local car dealerships! When asked about the school's winning tradition he raved and raved about their ability to win advertisements for Nike over his other top schools!"
So this helps with Bama’s demise. Sign me up.

Yea but I guarantee you the Steelers and Green Bay are bigger. Hell half my damn family are Pittsburg fans and they live in Memphis.

I'm personally no longer concerned after last weekends showing which one of the three starts.
Mauer before latest injury was capable....JG/JS both proved themselves last sat, so flip a coin and Pruitt/Chaney will know when to pull em and put in one of the other 2 studs.
Almost leaning toward Shrout. JG can't even hand off and Maurer...I'm just worried about that dude for real.

Shrout really showed us something last week. Wouldn't mind him playing all game. Or, start Maurer if he's 100%, but if we get up 2 or 3 TDs, sit him and let JTS finish things. Don't run him either. Just don't want to see Maurer get knocked out 3 times in 4 weeks. Really really don't like that thought. We could end up talking more than just him not playing rest of this season.

I think Bama and Clemson and a few more are way beyond the norm. When's the last time you saw a booster purchase a failing business from a recruits dad for $100's of thousands of dollars? I don't think the Vols are clean by any means but I don't think they're on the level of some of those programs.

I really like the way Shrout does his roll out handoffs. It honestly freezes the opposing LBs for a second and it also seems like our RBs have more explosiveness during his handoffs. It is a significant difference from when JG hands it off then when JT does. You can see it in the South Carolina game.

No I'm not, but checking down or throwing dump passes all the time is a high percentage pass that is the reason for the few interceptions that he has thrown.
Seriously, this is what they are coached to do.... Not turn the ball over. That's not saying hes been perfect but protecting the football isnt one of his flaws. Good grief you people cant just be happy for the kid. He played well Saturday and his throws were where they needed to be.

Noticed! Couldn’t formulate those word thingies.
