Y’all remember back in 2007 Alabama beat a then ranked Arkansas team... It was the game that turned the corner for a saban led Alabama.

I think you might be able to look back at last night as that point for us some time down the line.

Huuuge. Still grinning eat to ear
I believe everyone said that after auburn and ky. Last year. Then we gave up and even lost to Vandy. Let’s hope we’ve turned a small curve and will get better. But don’t get carried away. South Carolina thought they had turned the corner after beating Ga. how did that work out?
The main difference that I am seeing is that Jake is taking the time to enjoy the moment and imagine what could be happening while vette is already looking ahead to his next meltdown.

I agree.

The last time I had saw a game in Neyland Stadium was 98 (UAB). I didn't remember that game being really loud or the stadium shaking or the feeling of electricity in the air. I do remember being told to sit down and be quiet and I hadn't really been interested in going back. I feel like we had became a spoiled fan base in late 90s and felt like we were entitled to wins.

My sons 1st TN game was yesterday and I wanted them to have an exciting experience like I had my 1st game (85 UCLA). Last night the stadium wasn't full, the pregame was a little quiet, USCjr hit that TD on the very 1st play, and the refs were throwing flags early. I thought I made a huge mistake, but I'll tell you, something awesome happened. What would have wrecked our fragile teams of the last 10 years didn't faze this VOLUNTEER team. They responded by scoring touchdowns, dominating special teams, and totally shutting down the gamecocks offense. They performed all 7 maxims to perfection. Last night it was loud, it was electric, and Neyland Stadium shook. VOL Nation has been starving for so long and it was fed in a big way last night. It was amazing to be apart of and my sons loved it. Pruitt is the coach we've been waiting on.

Better be a pretty big cat if you're going to tell me to be quiet at a Tennessee game lol. Else I might turn around and knock a lung loose.

If we win out in the SEC and UGA loses to Florida, Auburn and A&M we would end up 2nd in the SEC East . That would make me so happy, I hate UGA and their overinflated sense of greatness.

We were in the "old money" section for that 98 game. Great seats but some real boring fans to watch a game with.

*We sat in MM, under the jumbotron, last night. It was about half full and we had room to spread out. It was a lot of fun.

We were close to Michael Myers. Anybody from here?20191027_214708.jpg
