Thank the Lord that he left. Death penalty would have been the result of that scum staying. It made me sick every single time that I had to support him the dreadful Fall. He spawned the moral victory...

Took a while, but we are now in the best place we’ve been in a long, long time.

Doesn't sound like he had a full-blown concussion before Saturday. Last week, he was taking team reps early in the week and cleared quickly. This week is different. No team reps, not cleared and sent to a specialist. Could be an extra precaution, a second opinion or something more.

Ahhh...makes sense..just watching that replay over and over.im just not buying the fact it’s a concussion,I think it’s a neck injury.

They are 16-4 over the last 2 years, they’re accustomed of winning and are well coached also way better than Georgia St. To just chalk them up as a win is asinine after what we saw the first two games of the season.

Lol 18/22 starters weren't starting last year. This isn't their team last year. They barely escaped an FCS opponent and have played a terrible schedule. And even last year A&M easily disposed them. This team, as they are currently playing, will wipe the field with UAB.

It was the Wednesday teleconference Tennessee week.
On former Tennessee head coach Butch Jones:
“Most of the stuff is behind the scenes — film study, doing administrative type work. He always does — what do we need to do on offense for me and his opinion in terms of improving based on film study and things like that. His role has always sort of been that and he’s done a really, really good job of it. He’s a great person and a great guy to have in your organization.”

On Jones returning to Alabama for a second season:
“We’ve had guys do it. I think it’s all relative to what they want to do. I know Butch had job opportunities after last year and he decided he wanted to stay here. It’s obviously an advantage when you have continuity in your program with the people that you have in your organization at any level.”

The admin could/should devote some of their law resources to at least look into loss stop, but the school probably would not like the negative perception in coaching circles. I am not sure who writes these contracts but they are foolish imo. Coaches start with high buyouts and diminish with time. I would think it to be opposite.

That makes sense. I think you're likely right. I don't know enough about the facts or the law to form a judgement.

He may be about to get a real job anyway, if the rumors are true, and if he can beat out that other fan favorite Schiano.

What Saban said might pass for trolling. If so, it was weak sauce compared to CJP's "rat poison" trolling two days prior.

No doubt Butch is playing UT. Make millions and no pressure. I think these coaches have schools over a barrel with these contracts. These contracts and buyouts are insane. You are initially unsuccessful and we will pay you more to release you. A longer tenure usually indicates success at which point another school can buy you out with a smaller buyout. Maybe I am rationalizing incorrectly, but seems ass backwards to me in the business world.
