Who would have thought that hiring a guy whose personal resume is better than our entire program history would turn out well.

I’m still kinda shocked we didn’t botch having an open basketball head coach position with Rick Barnes freshly unemployed.

No doubt. We needed instant credibility at the time, and we got it. Got to give Hart credit for that.

I know Jauan played QB in HS. Honest question, does anyone really know if he can throw the ball accurately enough to score points? Not coming after you, just curious question. I feel like he would have at least 2 turnovers if forced to throw. I also feel like Shrout would have a few so wouldn't it make more sense to have JJ on the field catching the ball if you are going to get the same amount of turnovers potentially?
He's 1/1 for like 50yds and 1 TD as QB at Tennessee if you recall.

This is such absolute bullsh!t. Sankey makes a strawman (absolute perfection is our goal) and then says fans shouldn't expect we can meet that goal every play forever. But no one gives a f about that. We want to know what he is going to do about the undeniable, flagrant cheating in the bammer game. The whole country saw it.

Next, he warns coaches and administrations (i.e., CJP and CPF) that the rules explicitly prohibit them from criticizing the refs, even when (as everyone saw) it was crooked as f.

Then he says, hey peeps we added a twitter account and website so you informed. How f---ing stupid.

(Every time I try to move forward, these bammer thieves and crooks d.b.a. the SEC make me go back to the bammer ref avi.)

1. Vols win that game with neutral refs.
2. The corruption was vivid. There are dozens of inexplicable calls and no-calls that altered the outcome of the game.
3. We all KNOW that the reason they did it was to keep bammer from being eliminated from the playoffs.
4. If they try to make a fake-azz "make-up penalty" against LSU, it is not a make-up: it would give bammer an unearned first round bye in the playoff to lose.
5. They turned their "big game" into a sh!t fake contest where the loser gets the advantage of the first round bye. LSU should forfeit before bammer thinks of it.
6. F Sankey.

So here's the deal--- I still don't think Maurer is out of the question for Saturday... yes, it is not looking good. JT or JJ, then JG.... it just has to go that way... Unfortunately everyone better brace for JG and boos. It is, what it is...

I am liking and riding with Pruitt from now on. This bama game was so huge for so many reasons--- and one is Pruitt can now justify changing his temperament with the players from "you idiots running around, not knowing what to do, not bought in"... to now "hey guys, you stepped up, showed up, kicked butt, have finally bought in, the practice is paying off, now lets keep building on this and let it all F'n hangout the remainder of the season, AIGHT!!"

This game made the statement that we needed for recruits. Now we have to continue to build on it and we might just be okay by the end of the season with recruits.

I flew to Richmond yesterday and sat next to a former walk-on who played for both Majors and Fulmer... he lives and works in Knoxville. He has flown with Fulmer twice this season. He said this is the first time in since before Kiffin that we truly have it all together in the athletic department and it starts and ends with Fulmer and his love and dedication to UT... and he isn't afraid or intimidated by anyone, even Haslam... He said Fulmer thinks we got Pruitt about 2yrs early, which was his plan and gamble, and that he knew waiting any longer that we wouldn't have a shot to get him. Fulmer said he's about another year or two from being GREAT. Lastly he said flushing out the bad vibes/kids from Butch and having a full roster of Pruitt's "BOYS" is WAYYYYYY bigger than folks think, and he is almost there. He said once he gets a full roster of his kids, they will run through a wall for him just like Orgeron, and he'll even bandage them up afterwards WHEN NO ONE IS LOOKING and thank them.

I got the impression that Pruitt is the kind of old school tough love coach, that if you do what he says, buy in, give everything you got, then he is all in on YOU.

Guy also said don't fool yourself if you don't think back in the day, players would have ripped JG a new ass for what he pulled. He said fortunately and unfortunately he was a witness to it several times... and it began and ended in that locker room and nothing else was said or done--- and 99.9% of the time, the problem was eliminated and everyone was back on track and all on the same page. TIFWIW

He very well may be. Never seen a snap of his. Just doesn’t feel like we’re “beating out the big dogs” for him bc the original question was why he was rated so low.
I'll just say this - same HS as BT's in South Carolina. Check BT's offer list, not great. Now look at Hyatt's - significantly better for P5 offers.

Something with that school - they aren't promoting their kids, "playing the game", kids don't have the finances to camp, idk what.

But we went hard after him. I'll ride with that.
