One funny well really not so funny thing about concussions

all college athletes take a base line test with various questions and they get a score. During concussion test they take the same verbal test to see if their mind is working normally

I have heard athletes say when they take the initial baseline test that they answered incorrectly on purpose so that if they are ever given the test during a game they will
Score “normal” And won’t be removed from the contest

Sad and funny at the same time

Imo there is very little chance 18 had a concussion against MSU because I find it very unlikely a concussed player would be allowed to be so active in celebration. Also vomiting and being groggy are the most likely symptoms of a concussion

Bruin would you mind starting a thread about it and discuss it there. In case you didn't know we had 3 commits last night.
Please enough is enough of this. It's really wearing thin.

Why are we arguing the semantics of head injuries? Maurer has taken hits in two straight weeks that resulted in him being pulled from the game.

That’s not good no matter how you try to spin it. And if he could play Pruitt would have had him out there.

No one is arguing. It seems very relevant to know if he just has had two neck injuries or two concussions

If it was two concussions zero shot he plays this week

Regardless what the subject is, you know the answer to this question.

Lol

Well that thread would be in football forum which I rarely go there

Oh and there are three threads for each commit and also one for all three. Why don’t you go there to talk about that if that’s all you want to see?

I’m no medical expert but I’ve not seen Maurer take a hit which would appear to cause a concussion. Jeudy? Yes

A sprained/strained neck? Yes
A decent knock to the head via Wright, yes.

Once again, no expert, but I think it’s just the head region and they are being cautious but tests and scans are going to reveal he’s fine

So if we make the big assumption of Baron, Hardy, and Thomas, that only leaves 2 spots. Space is getting limited.

Tstormtrooper is a confirmed time traveler. Please tell me next year's team is going to be better.

Kesling on 104.5

“No one really knows if it’s a neck injury or a concussion”

“I don’t get the feeling he’s playing”

Brother we are going to be a lot better. The progress this team has made in two weeks has been fun to watch. All this got started with Maurer entering the game and all the energy he brought to the team and thats a FACT. Even if he didn't get to finish the games.
Expecting a big win Saturday. Recruits loving it

Not that this caveat makes the discussion any more fruitful, but no one's trying to decide if he could have played any more against Bama, we are speculating on the likelihood that he'll play this weekend. And we are all very well aware that, unless the University makes an official statement, we won't really know the answer until around 3:30-3:45pm on Saturday.

we have 17 commits right now, can take 25. Check your math and take a lap.
I know LS is a important position, but I wish that our long snapper didn't have to take up a spot in the class. Maybe a PWO and the admission office overlooks his cost of admission.

Nope I’m here to stay. Sorry

Btw anyone suggesting that talking about whether 18 is going to play this week isn’t appropriate in this thread is way off base. Dear lord there isn’t a more appropriate thing to be discussed here than that
Well, leave it over there then and start visiting FF more frequently. You'll fit right in.
