They blame him for selfishly calling his own number while not changing the blocking scheme to match.

How ignorant can you be?

Do you ever question why so many people disagree with you?

See if you can intelligently respond to this

Oh I think his football IQ is about as low as his confidence right now.

I’d like to know if he had the power like many QBs to change the play to a sneak and if so what broke down in communication because that obviously was a problem

Imo I think in that case if the qb rushes to the line and runs a quick play the call is supposed to be a sneak but when 74 was late lining up JG didn’t adjust and ran the sneak when every one else thought it the sneak wasn’t being run.

It’s very common all over football for QBs to rush their team to the line in short yardage and run the sneak. That’s what appeared to me was supposed to happen until 74 was late getting into position

Anyone know if 74 was on the field on 3rd down or did he run on from the sidelines?

I can only hope. If 2 starts that tells me that Chaney is scared to death of starting Shrout and that we are completely screwed. I will put my mortgage on the cocks to cover if 2 starts the game.

Well if JG is a Loser like a lot of you seem convinced is the case it’s time to stop supporting a coach that can’t see something that is so obvious to so many if he plays on Saturday

He sees he is a loser too, hence why rubber neck Maurer has been the starter. Be gone.

After yesterday's presser - I'm all in on CJP. He's improving strongly just like the team is improving. The SEC office and Steve Shaw have been put on notice. The players are figuring it out and CJP/staff have their attention. Jim Chaney is absolutely the right guy for OC and UGA now knows it. With even a game manger QB that was accurate and could get the ball out on time this team has now proven it could and should have won 8 games this season.

The future is so bright. Bailey/Maurer at QB changes things starting next season. The O-line is going to be awesome in coming years. Excellent talent at receiver. The D-line is coming on strong. TooToo and Crouch are going to start in the NFL one day. Tank is going to be amazing and our excellent CB's are back on track.

Recruiting will get better now. Win out and lets see what happens.

Lol

So a guy that never takes chances with the ball is now all of a sudden a selfish hero seeking loser according to VN?

You know if he was selfishly after being a hero he’d sure as hell try to put the ball into more tight windows down the field.

Smh at the ignorant takes by many posters around here.

Pretty simple dude... if he cares about the team and winning, he runs the play that was called by the ADULTS who are making millions, not trying to play Bo Jackson... SiMPLE.

You realize the qb makes a lot of play call
Decisions during a game right?

In fact JG made the play call decision last week that won the game vs MSU

Agree, and you are the ignorant one... putting the ball in tight windows is having confidence and playing the game and running the play that was called. How can you not comprehend this? You have a designed play called by the coaches running a 240+ lb 5* RB over the goal line and instead you think it's smart to try and reach your scrawny ass up and over 300+ lb linemen.... hell, even if he tried to dive down through it would have been better.... but WAIT, he would get hit that way, so forget it, because he doesn't ever want to be hit...

Honestly, there's just a lot that went "wrong"

If it's truly just a he didn't know what the play call was, or was having trouble getting the audible in then why not call the timeout? I'd take my butt chewing over a timeout the coach didn't want any day of the week, cause when you have a moment you can say "Coach, I wasn't sure of the call and didn't want to run the wrong play here." The coach after he calmed down at least will understand that thought process.

The team ran a different play, plain and simple. OLine blocked for it, Pope crashed for it, and Crouch was waiting to get the hand-off. Now for whatever reason JG had for running the QB sneak, the absolute last thing you want to do on a 4th and goal on Bama's 1 foot line is....TURN THE BALL OVER. Tuck it and try to push ahead, hoping Crouch can give you some help. Get stopped and still be down by 2 scores with Bama's struggling offense pinned deep with a QB they aren't trusting to throw the ball and see what the defense can do.

To make a half-hearted attempt at a dive/ball reach to break the plane though...just awful. So many mistakes all by the same person on the same play isn't something you can just chalk up to coincidence, it's a fault in the player at some level that they didn't think the process through more.

Mohammed Sanu to the Patriots for a second round pick. Why do teams keep enriching them?
It's kind of a ****** deal for the Pats, honestly. Atlanta definitely won this trade. You usually see 2nds going out for star/premium players. Sanu was the 4th best pass catcher on his squad.
