If I knew BM was definitely good to go from here on out of be willing to say we can win 4/5.As I said after the game, I’m not ready to say Pruitt has everything fixed, but this team is still bought in and playing hard and that’s a really big deal.
Part of my assumption that we’d lose a lot of the games in November was predicated on the fact that we looked disinterested in September and I felt like those things would get worse. That hasn’t happened and this coaching staff deserves credit for it.
Unlike many, I still don’t expect a bowl game. This team is getting better but it is still paper thin. I’d say go .500 from here out - get to four or five wins and I’ll feel OK about the future. This is clearly the potential to do better than this - I’m just not sure it should be the expectation.
I haven't been paying attention to the media. Usually don't. Who's talking about it? Is it a lot? Bad?I'm amazed that Pruitt's facemask tug is getting so much heat. WTH? JG was walking right past him, shrugging off what Pruitt had to say. Would grabbing his arm to stop him have been more acceptable? Taking him by the shoulders and turning him around? Stalking him to the bench and getting in his face there. No, no and no. Because the people complaining would have complained about anything Pruitt did.
UT's in an awkward position if Maurer can't play next week. Because the fans will boo like crazy if Pruitt and Chaney play JG, and the team 100% needs fan support. That should be our advantage, and we should all be coming together, because the chance for a bowl is very real. But JG is more divisive than ever.
Pruitt beat Saban last night, and effectively eliminated Bammer from the playoffs if LSU beats them, which looks likely. The B'ham refs intervened.I finally finished watching the game today. I want to go on record and say that Pruitt will be the first coach from the Saban tree to beat him. I also think we have a fighting chance to win the rest of our games. It may depend on whether Maurer is healthy.

It was really impressive considering they had the camera on him thinking he was the #2 that plays QB for UT. The same QB that throws passes to our WR Jenkins. The correlation between how much these people are paid and how inept they are at their job is astounding. The camera work showing a despondent Alontae Taylor on the bike and later standing was also top notch.
