I'm just mad. We had that game. We could have won that game. We're playing so much better, and the refs didn't give us a fair shot. Our former starting QB screwed us over trying to play for himself. And ESPN couldn't have enjoyed Bama's win more, even lighting up cigars. They didn't even know who our players were.

I hope our guys get even angrier at this and push even harder. Let's take it to SC next week with anyone except number 2 under center. I hope he's in the transfer portal.

I understand your frustration but we were never winning that game with JG. He has no competitiveness or feel for football. With BM in, and Tua out, that was our shot.

All the other units were ready and that’s encouraging for the future.

I made the mistake of riding too long with our previous 2 coaches, and I think I may have made the mistake of jumping off too early with Pruitt. After Florida, I was done. I thought we had to ride it out regardless, but that there was little chance that he would pull it together.

It wasn't just the losses. It was how the team was inexplicably low energy, couldn't line up, couldn't execute... in every way and form, they looked regressed from last season and it appeared to be a carry over from the last two games of last year, and I couldn't reconcile that. I wasn't just seeing bad play... I was seeing bad play resulting from what appeared to be bad coaching. Formations were bad and predictable... I mean, we were all there. So I tapped out on Pruitt, just waiting for the time to pass for the next guy.

The last three weeks have been completely different. I'm not sure what happened, or why this team showed up to the season late, but I have hope again. Aggressive defense, a QB who can play, an OL which is quickly coming in to it's own and playing with an intense physicality. I'm not sure if Pruitt will be "the guy" but he is turning the corner when it appeared the job was too big for him. Now. more than ever, we need patience. I've seen enough in recent weeks to want to see where this goes. Hopefully, it's not the near misses of the Dooley era being repeated and we are in the infancy of building something special here.

Let's go get a bowl game.
As I said after the game, I’m not ready to say Pruitt has everything fixed, but this team is still bought in and playing hard and that’s a really big deal.

Part of my assumption that we’d lose a lot of the games in November was predicated on the fact that we looked disinterested in September and I felt like those things would get worse. That hasn’t happened and this coaching staff deserves credit for it.

Unlike many, I still don’t expect a bowl game. This team is getting better but it is still paper thin. I’d say go .500 from here out - get to four or five wins and I’ll feel OK about the future. This is clearly the potential to do better than this - I’m just not sure it should be the expectation.

Instead of the media talking about Pruitts tug on JG's facemask, they should be talking about how Bama left Jeudy in to play after that hit by Bituli. Did anyone else not notice that he was knocked out for a few seconds? If anybody watches the video of that, pay attention to his arms and hands on that play as hes on the ground. That hit truly affected Jeudy the rest of the game. It was a dangerous hit by Bituli to bring his down like that to hit the defender, not as much for Jeudy but for Bituli. I am glad he is okay. But he came to lay the wood last night and play ball. I appreciate his spirit and commitment! GO VOLS!

No he didn't. If you go back and listen to him he's evasive. He says that we'd called them earlier in the context of dodging having to call JG out directly. But he does not say that a QB sneak was called there.

On the radio interview, post-game, CJP said he didn't know what the call was and he wasn't even sure that there was a call.

Knew it was gonna be bad when they basically said Bama was going to win during the pregame. I know everyone was thinking it but you have to be professional.
They had already named the postgame show "tide rolling" before the game was played. That's as unprofessional as it gets.

If I was Pruitt I would've completely ignored JG. Like really, today I wouldn't have replied to him or his Dad missed phone calls. That would've sent a bigger message than that BS facemask tug.

You have to make a statment in front of the team......that it is not acceptable to put yourself first.

Kind of curious.....has anyone brought up the time The Goat did just this against bama. He pulled the handoff on a dive and casually strolled into the endzone. He was playing with A LOT more equity than JG.

I guess you know you are doing something right and on the uptick, when Bama has to get the refs to help them win the entire game when you were a 35pt dog.... GBO!
