To be fair, it wouldn’t have been that open had the play been run correctly. No one pursued that lane because jG never even disguised that pathetic sneak attempt

We had a full back on top of Q couch back there..please tell me you’re not doubting that mountain of a man from being denied a Touchdown against the Number 1# in the country

Last night really has me wondering if he's intentionally throwing games.

Is any of the intern's buyout money making it to Jersey since they're all old time buds? Is he trying to make the intern look like a better coach than he was by making Pruitt look bad and causing folks to question our new coach? Can someone who has played their position for that many years actually be that freaking inept once the game starts?
I've seen very little true effort and even less give a damn from JG as this season progresses, even when he was starting.
If he starts playing lights out once he transfers it'll really make wonder even more about him this season.

Hearing the Chaney comments about JG just changing plays at will, the changed play last night and the fact he tried to blow off CJP chewing on him afterwards has me like WTF.

Im so annoyed at myself for clicking on this article.

I’m thinking there were two plays called. One a handoff, one a sneak. JG dumb enough to think he caught them off guard and completely forgot to clue the OL in on his decision. I don’t think he’s throwing the games but I don’t think he cares about his Tennessee career anymore either.

I made the mistake of riding too long with our previous 2 coaches, and I think I may have made the mistake of jumping off too early with Pruitt. After Florida, I was done. I thought we had to ride it out regardless, but that there was little chance that he would pull it together.

It wasn't just the losses. It was how the team was inexplicably low energy, couldn't line up, couldn't execute... in every way and form, they looked regressed from last season and it appeared to be a carry over from the last two games of last year, and I couldn't reconcile that. I wasn't just seeing bad play... I was seeing bad play resulting from what appeared to be bad coaching. Formations were bad and predictable... I mean, we were all there. So I tapped out on Pruitt, just waiting for the time to pass for the next guy.

The last three weeks have been completely different. I'm not sure what happened, or why this team showed up to the season late, but I have hope again. Aggressive defense, a QB who can play, an OL which is quickly coming in to it's own and playing with an intense physicality. I'm not sure if Pruitt will be "the guy" but he is turning the corner when it appeared the job was too big for him. Now. more than ever, we need patience. I've seen enough in recent weeks to want to see where this goes. Hopefully, it's not the near misses of the Dooley era being repeated and we are in the infancy of building something special here.

Let's go get a bowl game.

With all of the positives right now within our program this type of behavior is holding us back. Let him walk. This team is playing hard and nearly everyone is bought in. Get rid of the dudes like this holding us back. Don’t need em
Who is it? Can’t see the tweet

That energy from Pruitt is what I really liked about him last year. He's been much more subdued most of this season. That emotional Pruitt is the one I prefer.
I actually believe that he thought trying that approach would be better at the start the season. Maybe it was suggested he "tone it down" from higher up, and he just doesn't know how to do it because it is not who he is? Maybe he himself wanted to polish his image, or thought a patient calm approach would be more helpful? It resulted in a disaster to start the season, and I think he decided if he was goona go down, he was going to be who he is.

I like this JP much better.

Still wonder if he was on meds.

I've wondered the same things. I thought maybe he was trying to act more "Head Coachish". (I know that's not a word but it is now). He needs to convey to the fanbase that he's as pizzed as we are.
