I may be in the minority here but I like Ari Aster and his films. Both aren’t really scary but good horror. Midsommar was slow but full of weird stuff and clues about what was going on. Hereditary was like a horror family drama. Weird as **** sometimes but kept me interested in what was going to happen. The use of music and silence is very well for as well as his film eye. Enjoyed both films
I don’t need know if you will like the first one. It’s supernatural but I did like the story. The second one is more of an anthropologist nightmare. I thought it was better overall but a slow burn. Both had good acting.I need to watch both of these soon.

On Hell House, it looks like I need to watch two to watch three? Like they are part of the whole story or something. I’ve sat through worse (the I land)
THen you might like hereditary. It’s not scary but just a good horror film. With both of his films I had to stop and research things. It made its more interesting but did run into some spoilers. I find the paranormal activity films more comedy than anything. Chad and I laughed out ass off at them. We watch them and add running commentary the whole way thru.I can do some supernatural, it's just super goofy ghost stuff I can't really get into. Paranormal Activity, The Haunting of *insert name here* I don't like, but I like Poltergeist, and Amityville Horror for examples. Edit: and Hell House lol
Yeah, I would watch 2 it starts going into the backstory more, then 3 wraps it all together. 2 was painful the first 30 minutes or so, then becomes more bearable.
Do I look like @BadJerry20 ??You're just mad there's no naked dudes in it!
@BadJerry20
My god was the first 30 mins of HH LLC 2 bad. I guess the entire movie was ok. I was really fine with the ending of the first one and didn’t see a need to return to the Abaddon but whatever. I’ll watch 3 now so I guess their little plan worked to suck out 8$ in rental fees from me.
I got a month of shudder out of it so not all that’s bad.
My dumb ass already rented t on iTunes before I looked. I’m sure it’s there.Gotcha. Did they take HH2 off Shudder? Bastards lol
