nah I thought the use of the music was good, it was just a little extra, maybe its volume maybe its just too "dready" bordering on cheesy. Maybe go with something more atmospheric, let the insects and silence work for you some.

Yeah, the voices in that tune are a bit distracting. Unfortunately the licensed songs I have available weren't that amazing. But I plan to expand it into a longer short I think.

Maurer or JG, JG or Maurer, how many picks is acceptable, JG has less interceptions and won't make stupid throws, Maurer with the quick release and running ability..... there is argument on either side, but the bottom line is this team and offense was sleep-walking with JG, and once Maurer got in, interceptions and all, he has lit a fire or at least a spark into the offense and it seems to now be moving with confidence... sustained drives... that was a bigger key last week than folks think... if we had JG in then entire game and kept going 3 and out because we were afraid to throw it, our D would have been gassed and probably given up the big play in the 4th to bring MSST back on top...

Maurer till it doesn't make sense... and it would have to be something BIG. I guarantee he's learned from his mistakes last week on the two pics...

Maurer also has less than 3 games of experience. He'll improve the more he plays, so he likely stops turning it over as much as he's currently averaging.

Ultimately if you are playing sound defensively and have a great special teams you will take your "lumps" with an inexperience QB who can at least keep the drives alive. For the style of play we are using to win with, 3 & outs are almost as bad as turnovers.
Iirc he had a lot of INTs midway through HS. He greatly improved towards the end of his career. He's starting back over now in college. He will improve and learn like he did before.

How is Penn state top ten

By running up the score against hot garbage, then struggling against their only 2 decent opponents this year. The public has been pouring money on Penn State all throughout this week. You can get 9.5 points at some of the offshore sites, and the opening 8 points is the biggest UM has been an underdog since the 2017 game v Ohio State. I am not sold at all on Penn State, and they don't deserve to be this big favorites. This is going to be a typical Big 10 ground and pound contest without much offensive fireworks. The kind of game that comes down to turnovers, special teams, and which way those breaks go. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Harbaugh go into Happy Valley and steal a win.

Georgia State didn’t do anything that caught us off guard. We were simply flat and our players didn’t take it seriously. Once they hit us in the mouth we folded.

I thought it was pretty widely discussed we weren't prepared for their QB option runs. Something about their coach or oc being new and had we not scouted GSU tape last year, but rather wherever they came from, we would have seen it coming. Idk of the validity of all that, but that was a big discussion point during those dark days.

Market at -9....greenline at 7.5 hmmm think you may be right. PSU may be overvalued. Or Mich undervalued. No one knew just how good Wiscy was when they pounded the Wolverines either.

In his defense...Maurer had “Nobody” dude was basically by himself winning games..but his passing yards and TD stats are eye popping.👀
