I don’t think they practice while they’re under concussion protocol. If Pruitt has already announced him as the starter, the medical evaluations are completed.
I agree. Calling it concussion related causes less panic than a neck or spinal issue.Right. I'm sure that a baseline was established when he first enrolled and the medical staff has done all the required testing to see where he is in comparison. If he's practicing, he's obviously been cleared.
I'm not sure he ever had a concussion, but they held him out for precautions. It was a pretty scary looking play when his facemask looked like it was stuck in the turf. I thought more of a neck thing than a concussion at the time.
If JG had been productive and made plays when it mattered, BM would never have seen the field regardless of the stats you have produced. If JG had been even an average Qb, fans would have not been clamoring for a change. Try to dispute that those facts. He is a bottom tier SEC Qb mainly because he has never been a gamer on a consistent basis. Having two or three decent starts in a career now in it’s third year makes him a subpar QB.Equal?
Not in any measurable way. LMAO
Maybe after two or three years BM could be better than JG ever has. Right now he isn't as good. By the time he is ready HB will be here.
I kinda agree. We haven't put it together with JG and BM could be the spark the other guys need.
He hasn't played well. We were "energized" for one quarter. That wears off though. He hasn't shown he can execute consistently.
If he plays the same next game as the last three quarters they will play JG and wait on Bailey.
Yeah. If you count FCS UTC that's true.Who averages more yards per pass and more yards per completion?
I'll save you the trouble. It's JG.
So BM is throwing shorter passes and STILL turning it over.
I don't make a lot of predictions... but if Pruitt does this and doesn't even give Shrout a shot... Bailey won't matter. UT will end up with 8 or 9 losses and Pruitt's fate will be sealed unless he performs some kind of miracle in year 3.If he plays the same next game as the last three quarters they will play JG and wait on Bailey.
You're right, but in the history of the sport and the QB position many that have played the position have struggled as to the best time to slide. My guess is that JG is one tough cookie with his past history of getting destroyed the last 2 years but might slide early whereas BM seemingly has a glass jaw but not afraid to keep sticking his head in there. Some would consider one courageous and some would have question marks about ones iq!I don't think it's too much to ask to slide when it doesn't matter and take the big hit only when it's crucial.
At this point we know JG is not a quality QB. The jury is still out on the true freshman.I kinda agree. We haven't put it together with JG and BM could be the spark the other guys need.

You really, really don't like Maurer.... you can deny all you want but it is pretty obvious. You're right, but in the history of the sport and the QB position many that have played the position have struggled as to the best time to slide. LOL. I give you to February before you start talking about Hill being the starter (because JG is going to transfer). You are the known racist just own it. But besides that dumb argument you are wrong again.
JG set the first one up. He literally threw the pass that put us in Bama territory before the first score.
Bama relaxing with a lead vs the backup is what I have always said.
Another one of those ifs!! If that's what you think would have happened I can't believe that it wouldn't have I guess. If you ever have a boat you should name it "woulda, coulda, shoulda". I'm still waiting for you to tell me what QB built like BM is currently being effective as a Freshman at a power5 school, you said there were many.It isn't when you drop UTC. If BM were the starter and the gameplan designed for him vs UTC... he would have had an absolute field day.
I remember when Dobbs first faced bama. I swear I think it helped him. Maybe it will Maurer also.I don't want to see BM hurt and don't want him to play in fear of getting hurt. I do think that he will gain tremendous experience playing against Bama, experience that will pay off later this season and next year.
