Concussion protocol includes head (and neck) trauma. The protocol is a return-to-play process, and UT takes a conservative approach. Once the trainers put a player on concussion protocol and take his helmet, he's on Day 1 of the protocol and can't return to play until he clears all the steps. Playing it safe is the right thing to do.

Had bowl odds last week at 11 or 12%. That simple win shot them up to 26% in my book...we have a chance...

Yes, yes he did. But a various of posters elesewhere and media are saying he’s concussed when that’s not the case. It’s exactly what you said.
It was clear he wasn't on concussion protocol, because concussion protocol isn't chilling out on the sideline during an SEC football game, jumping around and high fiving guys, yelling, with a towel on his head.

He came off the field with his left arm limp at side after his 2nd INT. I think he hurt his neck/shoulder on that strange faceplant.

Just thinking out loud, but is Byrd for CFA avail for a RS?
I couldn’t believe how much muscle Byrd has packed on. Dude is jacked. That was the first time I had seen him up close on camera.
Should be. I was just thinkin byrd would be great to have back. But i think hes gunned all season boo

Two consecutive weeks of Maurer being dinged up and in concussion protocol. Logical for coaches to rest Maurer, let him heal and rely on JG to manage the Bama game... and Chaney to manage JG. Apparently, the coaches feel more comfortable moving Crouch and Beasley to fill in for Henry T and provide backup at ILB than they do having JJP in the 2-deep. I suppose that could change if he has a good practice week.
Is JJP just really that incapable of playing SEC football?? What is always holding him back from seeing meaningful playing time? Because it isn't the depth in front of him.

Never listened to hairy Simonton and skinny Price before, but they make a scary point - BM has started two games and he’s missed snaps in both of them because of getting dinged/concussed.

Of course he would be the anti jg there. Need to bulk up and sliiiide young man

Was like the first fancy vacuum cleaner i bought and went to work so giddy thinkin about the features. And that day i realized i was old AF but didnt mind. Good feeling.
Needed it. I always put it off because the corded is annoying as hell. Have a huge ficus tree in the front and a few more on the side/back of the house. So many damn leaves
