could be. siap the other day. i think we all believe we can beat MSU....some of us are moving toward "should" beat.....

but you look at the match up and our offense against their defense "should" be a good one for us, but that assumes the freshman QB plays well and limits mistakes...

and our defense against their offense, well, as has been well discussed, our LB situatino isn't great, and that's not good going up against this type of offense.

then you throw in all the intangibles...noon kick, what's the crowd gonna be like for that, and a bad season? both teams are desperate for a win.....both coaches in year 2, and neither needs to lose to the other.........they're coming off a bye, we just got throttled by UGA.......they're getting all those suspended players back......

i mean, it doesn't exactly scream TN win..............on paper anyway............it should actually be an interesting game to watch to be honest.....even for a non partisan fan......

Yeah, a coaches/parent brawl would have fixed the situation.

Considering Georgia State, BYU, & UTC pretty much do nothing but try to run the ball the team has at least been exposed to lots of variation of running schemes already. Ultimately though we need to be able to own time of possession and drive the ball on their defense. That'll be the key I think, can't have 3 and outs or turnovers, and hopefully we're able to roll up 30 or more run plays and still hit the 4+ YPC average we're at now.

I think Maurer and the WRs being able to feast on some man coverage was shown, so I don't know how willing MSU is going to be to try and pressure the OL. Which means we might see lots of zone defenses with limited pressure, if that's the case then the OL & RBs have to be able to make them pay.

I expect a lot of points, which means it will probably be like 10-17 final score
