It’s not “I think I heard on the radio.” I heard two respected local media members talking about it and relayed the information.so now we're making up issues between Crouch and Pruitt?
none of this is a big secret. Crouch didn't want to play RB in college. we recruited him as a LB. he's playing LB, and crouch has said in interviews that he doesn't mind doing the special package stuff from time to time, but he sees himeslf as a LB primarily.
i doubt there's a big divide anywhere because of this.....and it's not like we don't have huge needs at LB right now, he's moved to ILB for now....which i think is where he was projected anyway....they only moved him outside because they had Bituli, HT and a hand full of others to play ILB....
i think there's a whole lot of nothing to any of that..........and it's gonna take a lot more than "i think i heard on the radio"....lol
Just relaying the conversation Josh Ward and Ubben were having about Rob’s SportsTalk hit on Monday.
They even went as far to say we were able to sign Crouch over Clemson’s efforts because they wanted him at RB full time.

I’m not vouching for it. I just thought it was interesting. I don’t even think there’s an “issue” here.
So apparently Rob Lewis said on 99.1 yesterday the staff would like to use Crouch at RB but to this point he has largely refused and they are afraid to push it because they convinced him to come here under the assumption he would be a linebacker only.
Pruitt said last week on Vol Calls that in the recruiting process that they pitched to him about playing rb in short yardage and goal line packages and he was open to it as long as his primary position was linebacker. So that doesn't sound very accurate to me
well, he was healthy until that leg/foot injury early in his senior year and he missed the season. i don't know that he had any other injuries prior? but i think that was a bit of a wake up call....he'd rather be delivering the blow, than receiving it....that much is sure.Crouch couldn’t stay healthy as a HS RB. I don’t think he would be able to in college either.
Tackles by DL are great, but then jumping to pressure...how many pressures did we get all game? 3? DT, Crouch, and Blakely. 1 from the entire DL.It appears that Savion Williams also might be figuring things out. Talk about an impressive stat line. 3 solo tackles 7 assisted for 10 total and had 2 pass deflections.
If that DL starts getting pressure without needing blitzes, man oh man.
still no baby!
Facts. He did spend most of the Friday prior to app state working with VFL films on hype videos for battle at Bristol lolWho knows if the media content people consult with Pruitt though. I don't see Pruitt micromanaging to that degree. Meanwhile Butch was probably trying to run all our social media himself.

? Explain
p.brownPotentially an interesting development on the offensive line, but something might be up with Brandon Kennedy. Didn't see him take a rep in the very limited part of drills I saw and he has a sleeve on his left leg much like the one Aubrey Solomon has on. The first group up in five-man drills went from left to right Wanya, Trey, Ryan Johnson, Chris Akporoghene and Darnell Wright.
Yes, that is three freshmen on the apparent first-team offensive line.
